Buggy Mess, just like everything EA touches Horribly buggy mess of a gaming platform, just like everything else EA touches. The platform downloads games and patches at the pace of old people fu*king. I normally download at a rate between 20-30mbps, Origin downloads at 2-5mbps. Complete trash, avoid it if your game is available on Steam or another platform.

EA yet again are just greed hungry… EA yet again are just greed hungry thieves. It should be flat out illegal to remove a game from their store if there is downloadable content available to purchase. Everyone who has purchased downloadable content for Cities Skylines has now been ripped off due to the game being completely unavailable. There needs to be a petition against EA to either refund the money for every DLC purchased for a game removed or for those games to at least be available to purchase if you currently own the downloaded content except for the game due to the game pass subscription... worst company to be a part of the gaming industry…

Accidentally Link the Wrong Steam Account? Good Luck, You'll Never Get to Connect Another Steam Account Again My husband accidentally connected his Steam to my Origin account and it's causing problems with his games/purchases. If we unlink, I can never connect my own//any Steam account ever again for as long as I live. I'm told "That's just the rule" and that you used to be able to link new Steam accounts, but EA changed the rules because "players were abusing it." Doesn't matter that ours was an case of accidentally connecting the wrong account and that I don't even play his games, we will never be able to play on the correct accounts. What an absolute crap excuse for a gaming application.

DO NOT BUY FROM ORIGIN! GO ELSEWHERE! I was finally able to contact an acual person on the phone for an issue with a game lagging so bad, we could NEVER play it. I explained my issue and after checking my system's info, he said that my computer was under the specs to play this game, which explains why we COULD NEVER PLAY IT. I asked for a refund or a credit for another game that we COULD play and after sending the dxDiag report to them, he told me that my request was denied because I waited too long to ask. I told him that their technology was seriously outdated if they could not tell that the game was never actually played. DO NOT BUY ANY GAMES FROM THEM!! SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE THEY APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS!! I am spending my $$$$ somewhere else!

Absolutely garbage posting this again because my review got flagged and deleted, I guess that's one way to silence complaints. Not only is the Origin client missing simple functions like finding preinstalled origin games it also breaks several game titles and makes them unplayable. A recent example would be Star Wars Battlefront 2, if the Origin ingame overlay is enabled the game won't accept keyboard input. Furthermore the origin client is prone to chrashing and freezing, also server issues are a constant problem. (log in not possible) For two weeks now my origin client has stopped working entirely and will only show pulsating grey boxes instead of Menus and text.
