I just had the best experience with… I just had the best experience with customer service ever! I was having such a weird day when I went to pick up my delivery there was no package to be found. I searched everywhere. I live in an apartment with Luxor lockers and the delivery guy did not put my package in a secure locker. I notified the complex of my issue and they still could not locate the package. I was so upset bc this economy has been brutal and I specifically budget every month so my fur babies get the very best nutrition possible. It can be a struggle but they deserve the best. My spirits were completely shattered but I decided to reach out to customer service just to voice my concerns. Bec was amazing and without hesitation processed a new order to be shipped asap. It’s these small acts of kindness and understanding from amazing businesses that make my heart feel full again. My fur babies mean the world to me and to have a company like Smalls take the reins in human compassion, it makes me feel a little bit more hopeful in humanity.

Made my cat extremely sick!! I really bought into this company’s hype. I bought several chubs. My cats were a bit hesitant, but one took to it pretty well. Unfortunately, she became VERY ill. I took her to the vet who was not happy I was feeding my girls this diet. I got a message from the company that there had been some quality control issues, resulting in a recall. I wanted to return it all — but they refused to take back anything that wasn’t in the recall batches. They got very ugly with me — even after I told them their product caused my cat to be very ill! They couldn’t care less. My vet says this diet has to much “handling/processing” that allows for human error like with what happened to my girl and their poisonous food. Just, BE WARNED!!

What a kind and amazing company. We ordered food in hopes that our kitty would eat more and gain some weight. Unfortunately yesterday she wasn’t doing well so we all took her to urgent care, including our 4 year old son who did not want me to go alone with her. We were told that she was in final stages of kidney failure and were told to take her home, say goodbye and bring her back later so she could cross the rainbow bridge. She crossed over in my arms with my husband by my side. Today we received our order. I reached out to them and they immediately issued us a refund, asked for pictures so they could post a memorial and gave us a discount for the future in case we get another kitty. What an amazing company. We will be telling everyone we know and will definitely order in the future if we get another kitty. Thank you for being so kind during such a hard time.

My cat loved smalls from the first bite My cat loved smalls from the first taste. I mix it with canned food that she’s used to eating. The experience of ordering and delivery was all positive. I appreciated the ease of changing my auto ship date as well.

put two senior kitties' health at risk I have two senior kitties, one 14 and the other 16. They've both been super healthy all their lives. Not too long after Smalls changed their recipe last year, the 14 yo started experiencing severe constipation (almost had to take him to the emergency room) and the 16 yo started drinking and peeing a lot more than usual. I've read about the potential kidney risk with nutritional yeast, which is amongst what was added to the new Smalls recipes. I have now switched them to Viva Raw (because Just Food For Cats was out of stock for almost a month) and they seem to be getting better. But I ended up with a full freezer of Smalls cat food that I can't use, as well as over $900 in vet bills.
