CAFake Vendors | Fake Leads | Scum Company WARNING to couples: I used to be a vendor registered on this web site. Wedding Wire deletes your negative feedback. A lot of their vendor accounts are actually fake to create an atmosphere of a very busy platform. WARNING to vendors: 80% of leads are going to receive will be fake leads. Very time/money consuming, super low results. Better invest it any other way of advertising or buy yourself a new gear. WeddingWire is scum and absolutely not worth it.

GBShould be Illegal Their business practice should honestly be illegal. It's unethical at best, and infuriating to deal with. Their customer service/"account management" team keeps rotating account managers without notifying me, so I've had to deal with multiple people on multiple occasions. I haven't gotten a single quality lead from this platform. Every single one of them is unresponsive, and I have received several spam inquiries of people trying to fish and scam for information. TheKnot/WeddingPro/WeddingWire refuses to let me cancel or provide a refund. I will NEVER trust this company or hire them for ANY services EVER again.

CAAwful practices I have had several years' worth of dealings with Wedding Wire. I paid for a year of advertising with them, and had over 100 inquiries that way. But only one booking. (my normal booking percentage is above 50%, so this is a testament to the low quality leads). Once you decide you will no longer pay, they think of every way they can hurt your business, including charging your card without your permission, silently changing user terms so that you are automatically renewed for another year of advertising without notifying you, and then charging 'overdue' fees if you change your credit card on file. It also seems that once you stop paying them, they will delist or blacklist you and remove even the regular (free) services available to other nonpaying vendors. Dealing with them is frustrating, and all the customer service staff are quick to blame you (the user) rather than politely inquiring about the issue. They also blatantly lied about their success (WW told me some really fantastic booking numbers that a local wedding vendor had had with them; I got in touch with said vendor, and they confirmed those numbers were a lie) It's just a terrible experience overall, and it's a shame that they are otherwise a useful service to folks looking for wedding vendors, who do not know how vendors are treated. I would never recommend them to any other wedding vendor.

GBMONEY PIT This platform has been a big waste of time. After months of being harassed by this company I finally gave in to all the pressure tactics they use in sales (i.e. cutting prices in half to get you to sign the contract). It's temping but don't do it! Most of the leads are scams, the others don't reply. When pitching the sale they'll tell you "This business in your area received __ leads just last year, if you book even a fraction of that you'll break even" NOT TRUE. I swear they generate 99% of these "leads" that come through. Save your time and money and advertise through local sources.

GBVineyards Country Club & Wedding Wire I work closely with Heather D. on the Wedding Wire, she does an outstanding job of ensuring our business utilizes all of the features of the Wedding Wire, the way it was intended to be optimally utilized. There were areas on the site, that weren't being used correctly she kindly and professionally pointed them out and has guided us to success. We don't have enough good things to say about Heather and The Wedding Wire. The upfront investment may initially be expensive, but well worth your investment. Thank you for your hard work, Heather!
