Tim's Florist Massapequa, ny… so i posted a review of Tim's Florist in massapequa who did our wedding and the guy came in drunk and was tripping over and i posted the review on weddingwire.com where i met the guy and they were saying i can make accusations etc, the florist was asking telling them i didnt do business with them so i gave them copies of my invoices signed and dated from the florist but they still said i can't make accusations of him being drunk and tripping and dropping all the things during set up at my venue, when they weren't accusations they were true. They are very pro vendor and don't want to post the truth. terrible site for real reviews with real people!

If you are a vendor, beware! Do not advertise with the wedding wire or the knot They are a scam! Crooked business practices, sales people who lie through their teeth and promises that never come to fruition. If you are a vendor do not advertise with them.!!!!!!!!!! We canceled our account with plenty time told them not to charge our credit card that we are canceling our account. They charged our card anyways and they have yet to give us our credit back..We own The Lodge at Bridal Creek.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THE KNOT The Knot and Wedding Wire are horrible. They lure you in with insinuations of all the leads you'll get, how much traffic they get, etc. But it's all lies and false promises, and they'll never outwardly promise anything, they're very careful with their wording, but it is heavily implied that you will get leads. The leads are all fake, people never respond, never book you. They 100% take advantage of small businesses and trap them in contracts.

Awful practices I have had several years' worth of dealings with Wedding Wire. I paid for a year of advertising with them, and had over 100 inquiries that way. But only one booking. (my normal booking percentage is above 50%, so this is a testament to the low quality leads). Once you decide you will no longer pay, they think of every way they can hurt your business, including charging your card without your permission, silently changing user terms so that you are automatically renewed for another year of advertising without notifying you, and then charging 'overdue' fees if you change your credit card on file. It also seems that once you stop paying them, they will delist or blacklist you and remove even the regular (free) services available to other nonpaying vendors. Dealing with them is frustrating, and all the customer service staff are quick to blame you (the user) rather than politely inquiring about the issue. They also blatantly lied about their success (WW told me some really fantastic booking numbers that a local wedding vendor had had with them; I got in touch with said vendor, and they confirmed those numbers were a lie) It's just a terrible experience overall, and it's a shame that they are otherwise a useful service to folks looking for wedding vendors, who do not know how vendors are treated. I would never recommend them to any other wedding vendor.

MONEY PIT This platform has been a big waste of time. After months of being harassed by this company I finally gave in to all the pressure tactics they use in sales (i.e. cutting prices in half to get you to sign the contract). It's temping but don't do it! Most of the leads are scams, the others don't reply. When pitching the sale they'll tell you "This business in your area received __ leads just last year, if you book even a fraction of that you'll break even" NOT TRUE. I swear they generate 99% of these "leads" that come through. Save your time and money and advertise through local sources.
