Amazingly Good! The sugar free truffle cheesecake was, by all reports, delicious! Just be aware that the artificial sweetener should be eaten in moderation since it can upset stomachs a bit. Diane, the woman I spoke with, was very warm and helpful, and I hope she is the one who helps you. 'I tried calling to place my order on a Monday, but couldn't reach anyone. That concerned me. I got through on Tuesday, and all was well. However, their phone systems need revising, since you call, get the routing recording, and despite hitting the desired extension, it reverts to the routing recording. Just a bit frustrating, especially if you have to call several times.

Ridiculous Shipping! - Cost More Than The Cake! Folks, I googled this bakery and set up an account because I was looking for my favorite cake for Christmas - A Black Forest Cake w/ cherries, etc. I was excited to place my order for the $48.00 cake, but, I was absolutely SHOCKED at the $54.00 shipping charge!!!......$54.00 to ship a cake to Virginia??...........Are you kidding?......That is more than what the cake cost!! Luckily, I did not hit the "continue" button for the order, but having a "first-time" customer gouged with a ridiculous $54.00 shipping charge for a $48.00 cake is NOT a good first impression....... I will NEVER use this rip-off site and I do NOT recommend it for anyone else either!!

When I did not receive an email… When I did not receive an email regarding the shipment of my order, Diane was very helpful in providing me with delivery information i needed. I sent the Lemon Lulu cake to friends who absolutely loved it!! I would order from 1-800-Bakery.com again.

I bought the most beautiful flamingo… I bought the most beautiful flamingo themed cake for my best friend bridal shower.Black velvet responded promptly to my initial request professionally and with creative flare and sent me an an invoice for payment right away to sort.I received compliment all day long.I'll definitely order again.

Although I had a problem with the cake… Although I had a problem with the cake being delivered to the right place (at college campus) and it was broken the fact that I received my full refund makes me happy and able to trust chef Steve. I will def want to try ordering again with them maybe cookies next time. Lol I am giving them 4 stars for refunding me the cost of cake and shipping.
