A Very Satisfactory Experience I recently called Saratoga about ordering a case of very obscure Spanish Albarino listed on their website. There customer service rep was pleasant and very helpful. I subsequently ordered my wine on line and it arrived in good shape and in due course.

There do exist respectable wine sellers online! Not only are the prices great, with reasonable shipping rates and quick delivery, but customer service is also responsive, helpful and generous. About 5 minutes after placing my first order, I got a separate email with a 10% discount on my first order. Chagrined, I sent a quick email to customer service asking if they could apply it to my order. Without any hesitation, I had a refund of the 10% in my PayPal account. With so many shady wine sellers online, I was thinking about buying these in France and packing them in my suitcase. But once I found Saratoga, that ordeal was no longer worth considering.

Saw a wine I would like in a restaurant … Saw a wine I would like in a restaurant advertisement. Francis Coppola Director's "Wizard of Oz" 2014 Merlot. Typed the wine into my Google Search. SaratogaWine.com was the first choice. I had 3 bottles of the wine delivered to me 3 days later. Only $7 for shipping. Awesome service.

Poor customer service! I currently have a problem with a recent order. I called, explained the problem, and was assured someone would get back to me. That didn't happen, so I called again the next day. I spoke with Brian, who asked me to email him some information. I did so, and still got no response. I called again the following day (that's now phone call #3 & one email). I spoke with Brian again. He was polite and told me I would be getting a return label. Two days later, and I still have no communication from the company. This is certainly not good customer service. I will not be placing an order with them again.

I needed my order in a week and did not … I needed my order in a week and did not realize it took four to six days to depart their facility until after I placed my order. I emailed them with my rush request and they immediately responded and made it happen. They were so easy and nice to work with!
