Great service and products They truly "deliver" the goods. They indicate they try and fill the orders within two hours and they actually do get the orders out within that timeframe. Much faster than say Fresh Direct. The groceries are all packed well, no issues. All in all very reliable, fast service here in NYC.

Amazing online customer service! I was having some trouble confirming an online order so I used the "Chat with us" option in the lower right hand corner of my browser. I immediately received a response from "Chatty" who was prepared and ready to assist me! Chatty stayed online to insure that my order was processed accurately. Saved the Day! I went searching for a grocery delivery place because I was feeling very sick this morning. I had no energy to get dressed and run downstairs to the Duane Reade next to my building. I checked delivery.com for grocery stores and a few other websites but no one offered the selection that newyorkgrocery offers. I found medication and some food and it was delivered very promptly. I was also very happy to see different payment options than a credit card - COD and Paypal. They also called me within minutes of placing my order letting me know one item was out of stock but they were able to replace it with another product of the same quality. I will definitely use newyorkgrocery again!

Plus and Minus Got a call to change several items from my order which I found to be wonderful. Most places either simply substitute or cut those out of the order. Delivery was prompt. However, the pictures of the salami we bought was a full salami, but what arrived was a package of slices. Might be a great addition to the NYC late night ordering scene if they deliver what they show - - even if everything is a bit on the high side. It was after 10 pm when we made the order, one should expect to have to pay premium.

Pleasant experience Super fast responses on the online chat, they ran out of some items so called to tell me what substitutes they would provide ( very polite and helpful Indian gentleman who gave fabulous n quick service ) . This is a great option to fresh direct - quicker n good prices too
