GBThey went above and beyond. I ordered tulips to be delivered asap as a surprise. While the web site said they were in stock, I soon received a phone call stating that they were out of tulips. Although communication was very challenging due to background noise, I left it to the merchant to be creative - but to include some roses. Then the delivery person ran into issues when the recipient was unexpectedly not home. I received another immediate call, and not only did the delivery person find a decent hiding spot, but they sent me photos of the spot to be sure I thought it would work. It did, and, in the end, the gorgeous arrangement was picked up and on the table.

GBTerrific! Ordered in the afternoon for my daughter who had been away on business and had no time to shop before impending historic snowstorm. My daughter uses Fresh Direct and all deliveries were canceled for today and tomorrow due to weather. I found your website, placed the order within 10 minutes. Groceries were delivered ahead of time and with her doorman by the time she arrived home. A bit pricer and tip was steeper than other delivery services but well worth it in a pinch.

GBThe only beer distributor in the metro … The only beer distributor in the metro area to be responsive at any time of the day and always meets our needs. We've had other beer distributors give us the runaround and had one actually not show up with our keg when promised. We never had that issue with NYGrocery. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

GBThey won't read/comply with the special instructions or write a note I bought a bunch of items to be delivered to a friend (inside joke) I tipped over $18 because I included specific instructions that it was a gift and if they could write a one sentence note, I would appreciate it. In their online instructions it says they will attach a note. They did not and I am upset I tipped so much before this was done.

GBAmazing online customer service! I was having some trouble confirming an online order so I used the "Chat with us" option in the lower right hand corner of my browser. I immediately received a response from "Chatty" who was prepared and ready to assist me! Chatty stayed online to insure that my order was processed accurately. Needless to say, I am a happy customer and will continue to utilize this service. Thanks for reminding me that amazing customer service DOES still exist. Cheers, Hannah
