Punitive Policies Recently placed a large order, including numerous items that were backordered but still charged to my card. Eventually, I was notified some of the items were no longer available and I would be issued a refund. So, essentially I "loaned" C&B several hundred dollars interest free. If I'm going to give out interest-free loans, my friends and family will come first...not C&B or any of their other businesses.

Delivery...forget about it! Ordered 3 pieces of furniture in December. Original delivery mid February, then end February, then mid March, then end march now no date at all. Meanwhile Crate & Barrel is earning interest on all of our deposit money which includes prepaid shipping. I would never buy from C&B again. UPDATE: Notified items are in local warehouse and it will take 23 DAYS to ship the final 25 miles. Really?

Great place to buy furnitures and… Great place to buy furnitures and dinnerware. The only bad experience was about an online pickup order, it took 6+ month and then got canceled without any apologies. But overall, a pretty good store.

Wonderful company! Update: After contacting C&B customer service, I'm happy to report that they really stepped-up and sorted out my order to my complete satisfaction. Well done to the C&B team. ------------------------------------------------------------- As others have suggested...C&B employs deceptive marketing practices. They're quick to take your money, then delay order fulfillment. I ordered $900 worth of cookware back in November to prepare for the Christmas holidays. What was promised for 2-Dec delivery, has now been pushed to the 15th. Looks like C&B will destroy my holiday preparations.
