Pricey / Rude I don't really eat candy anymore, but when I do its See's. I am so disappointed in the company. I know prices are going up but $32 a pound?!! This is almost rare gem prices. I only eat a few varieties that they sell. I wish I could count on not being robbed for a few pieces of delicious candy. Mostly, I have had a good experience with the quality. There have only been a couple of times when the candy tasted a little stale. I went to the downtown San Francisco location to get what little I could afford and a very rude woman with ratty, multi-colored hair "helped me". I have never had such an unpleasant experience at any other location in the 40 years I have indulged in this company. Please get these prices and the weird looking/acting employees in order or I will have to give you up.

I’d never had See’s chocolates before I’d never had See’s chocolates before, and I love premium confections. I must say I was a little disappointed from the start. I bought truffles, assorted creams and peanut brittle. The brittle tasted as though it was over-heated, more carmelized than a brittle should be. I haven’t tried the creams yet, but the truffles I tried were what I’d call creams. They weren’t melt in your mouth style truffles I love. I’m hoping I like the rest of the order, but I’m disappointed in what I’ve tried so far.

This is expensive candy and I expect… This is expensive candy and I expect that you should get what you pay for, including decent service. I sent several boxes out to several locations across the country to my children and grandchildren anticipating that they would receive them in time for Easter. I was assured by the see’s agent that they would all get to their intended destinations on time. That didn’t happen for three of my children and grandchild. The chocolates were delivered to the wrong address even though they were correctly addressed with my daughters home address, the driver simply dropped them off at the wrong house, resulting in them not receiving the chocolates in time for Easter but rather several days later when their neighbor brought them their missing parcel. I reached out to see’s and told them of my disappointment and have yet to receive a response. I notice that see’s go-to response to every complaint sent in with a pre written response, a form letter in essence, telling everyone to “ Please provide your contact information so we can work with you to renew your good feelings about See’s.”, which is just a way of dismissing us (who’s going to provide personal information on an open format?) and avoiding accountability since they already have our information in our see’s online accounts, which most of us who order online have set up. I know I have one and they have all my contact information, yet I've received no response from them after sending an email telling them of the issue. So please, see’s, spare me your canned response and just do better. You clearly have no problem charging a huge premium for your chocolates, show that same level of investment in treating your loyal customers with care.

UPDATE No response at all from Customer Service UPDATE - AFTER READING THIS REVIEW SEE'S CONTACTED ME AND REFUNDED MY PAYMENT! Ordered a 2023 Christmas present which they said would be delivered December 18 to the 22nd, but it did not leave See's until the 17th! There is NO WAY a package could get from the West Coast to FLORIDA on time if shipped that late, and of course it did not. It arrived after Christmas, after my relatives left for vacation. Worse, I tried contacting See's THREE TIMES through email and the online contact form and they never answered. I said I wanted my money back if it was delivered after Christmas. Note - UPS said it was NOT UPS's fault - there were no delays, weather issues ec. They said See's simply shipped too late. I still want a refund, but dead silence from See's. So sad - I order from them every year but do not see how I can do it again.

Poor quality Advent Calender Purchased an advent calender from see’s. The quality of the flapped box that conceals the candy has low quality adhesive tape holding it together. Just opening up the container caused the lid to come off spilling candy all over. Even my 6 year old daughter, in trying to pull open a flap makes the whole cover lift off. I have to hold it down. Their website reviews has several complaints about this. I Won’t ever be purchasing another see’s product.
