My husband is a meat snob My husband is a meat snob, and the fact that he LOVES the Honest Bison meat we purchased says we are very happy and will be a repeat customer. The venison actually tastes like deer meat. I had purchased meat before, often, from another online company, however the meat was gross and bland, and the customer service was terrible. We received our HB meat quick, and by far some of the best tasting meats we've had. I will be ordering more soon.

The meat is very flavorful The meat is very flavorful. The 1st time that I cooked a Bison Brisket, I undercooked it, so it turned out a bit tough and chewy. The next time that I cooked one, I cooked it more like I would a Beef Brisket - Low & Slow (at least 2-hours per pound of meat, with a layer of BACON on top) with Smoker internal temperature around 180 to 200 degrees F with meat temperature slowly ramping up. At about 1.5 hours remaining and meat temperature around 150 degrees F, I increased the Smoker internal temperature to about 230 degrees F aiming to get the Brisket temperature up to 205 degrees F for the last 30-minutes to break down the Collagen. The result was WONDERFUL! Everyone who tried it LOVED it, even people who claim that they don’t like “Wild Meat”.

Now let’s talk about the level of deliciousness; our bison roast was soooo good and a big hit. Definitely more orders from us in the future.

FULL DISCLOSURE FULL DISCLOSURE: my HYPOallergenic puppy is VERY allergic to ALL proteins except venison and lamb, and just about all veg and grains too! Doing a thorough search of ingredients in all the wholesome dog foods out there, and finding nothing he can have, I now cook his meals for him. Honest Bison has been a lifesaver. They’re farming practices, high quality meat, ORGAN MEAT too!!!!! Has made my life easier and my pups health better. Shipping was a breeze, and ordering was super simple. I highly recommend them, and will be doing a HUMAN purchase too

Great but know what your ordering... Ordering & delivery great, but meat cuts were ehhh at best. I was expecting slightly more aggressive looking tomahawk like listed on site & instead got these I guess ordinary cuts, guess I expected more along with how much I did spend. But, meat was great when cooked, excellent flavor profile, might order again here in the near future. Again, thanks keep on doing great things with your meat products.
