GBHorrible company that won’t take… Horrible company that won’t take accountability for their undertrained staff. I used bill.com many times with zero issues until one of their support staff completely ruined my account. They had me create duplicate accounts and cancel payments that already went through and resend. I would have done none of that if I wasn’t guided by support to do so. The result my payments didn’t go through and I wasted 30 hours on the phone over multiple days where they assured me everything would be fixed. Then abruptly closed my account with zero explanation. Don’t trust Bill.com they are for making money and don’t care about small business. I’ve never had an issue them magically it’s closed right after support told me to cancel and resubmit payment. Good luck getting support nobody there knows anything and just make things worse. They lost a lifetime customer!

GBEasy to use and set up. Separation of duties is incredibly easy. Great software! Bill.com has been incredibly helpful in getting our payables out with no fuss. We were able to set users who can enter, approve, and pay bills. It's one of the easiest pieces of finance software I've ever used. Integration with QuickBooks and NetSuite were painless as well.

GBNewer to Bill.com As someone newer to Bill.com, I was initially unsure of how well it would work, as it was a company I had never heard of. But as I have used it, I enjoy the benefits of using this company as they make it super easy for direct deposit and to track when you are getting paid when an invoice is created. Definitely a great tool in the belt of contractors.

GBAs a freelancer... As a freelancer, invoicing clients on bill.com has been a simple, intuitive, and streamlined process. It keeps all of my bills neatly organized without me having to maintain them myself, especially thanks to their status updates feature that lets me keep track of receivables. I would otherwise miss out on payments if I didn't have that to look back on. Having an email paper trail has also been useful

CANot great for cross border business (US / Canada) I'm a consultant (incorporated) in Canada and did not have issues with Bill.com until recently. Historically, payments from customers come through to my Canadian based USD account directly via Cambridge Mercantile. I never had to log in to Bill.com and did not run into any problems. Recently, Bill.com updated their systems for rightful compliance reasons and I have no issues with that. Unfortunately, BILL.com could NOT imagine a scenario where a Canadian Corporation could bill a US customer in US dollars. I can no longer be paid quickly and easily in US dollars as per my contract with a US customer. The 2 solutions for this particular scenario that Bill.com provided were: 1. My US customer would have to manually enter the USD wire details in Bill.com each month (I would not need to create a Bill.com account) >>> My customer does NOT want to do this manual work. 2. I would have to almost use Bill.com as a ‘bank’: a. My customer pays Bill.com in USD for my invoices b. I have to use ‘withdraw’ funds from Bill.com to move payments to my bank account AND pay for the fx fees if changing currencies + Bill.com fees + my own bank's fee to transfer amounts from Bill.com...>>> I do NOT want to do this. I will say, when I reached out to Bill.com, their support was kind and responsive. Ultimately Bill.com for Canadians who bill in USD is not a great solution at this time.
