Good selection, expensive shipping. Overall I am impressed with the selection of Norwegian food and snacks. I find the prices of good pretty reasonable, however the shipping cost is downright outrageous and may keep me from shopping again.

Scandinavian foods that are not available in Chicago There are Scandinavian products I cannot get locally in Chicago. It's great to be able to enjoy the foods I ate as a child. Abba Fish Balls, Dinner sausages, Fena Laar and, erte stuing, and amazing Chocolates. The prices are more reasonable if I were to shop at specialty stores for similar products.

Disappointment Placed my order on Dec. 6 for delivery on Dec. 19. One item, the Swedish Farmers Cheese, was of utmost importance. On Dec. 17, I got notification from Paypal that I had been refunded $22 for the cheese, which was out of stock! Never heard anything from the seller. Had to find the cheese someplace else and pay another expedited shipping fee in order to have this cheese for Christmas. Upon calling the seller, he claims he is blameless, since people come in to his store and buy his stock. I would think that if somebody has ordered the item, it could be set aside to make sure the order can be fulfilled. Will never use this seller again.

The flavors of my childhood delivered to my door in FL Great meats,fish,cheese,dry goods and goodies from Norway delivered at my door-step,and it taste even better here. Norwegian cured lam and the best hotdogs I ever had are perfect foods for our "year-round" summers here in South Florida. Very high quality products,just like home:)
