About Farm to Fork Meals

Farm to Fork Meals is a healthy meal plan delivery service providing gourmet chef-made meals created with your time, health and nutrition in mind. We use all-natural ingredients to prepare high-quality, well-balanced, fresh and delicious meals from scratch and delivered directly to doorsteps across South Florida and Tallahassee. Our meals are also tailored for your food preferences, dietary restrictions, and allergies. And unlike meal prep kits, with our weekly meal service, all you have to do is heat your meals in a microwave or an oven. You can choose from one of three meal plans: FIT Meals (protein, vegetables, and complex carbs), PALEO Meals (protein, vegetables, gluten-free, and dairy-free), and VEGETARIAN Meals. Meals are also interchangeable from one plan to another and you can swap meals from different plans each week. New breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are created by our executive chefs every week, and all weekly meal plans include either two meals or three meals per day, 5 days a week, starting at $10.75 per meal.

Great variety and very well planned… Great variety and very well planned meals. Fresh quality ingredients, well seasoned and healthy. We are a family of four with 2 teenage boys and we all love the meals. So nice to come home and have a balanced and delicious meal ready to eat. Very well organized delivery service as well. I highly recommend!

The coconut raspberry cake looked so… The coconut raspberry cake looked so good and easy to make that I decided I’d make one. After buying all the ingredients- nearly $30 - it turned out to be the most awful tasting cake and icing and tasted of olive oil which you had to put in. I’m very disappointed that this can be inflicted on the viewers.

I'm giving 3 stars because it's just… I'm giving 3 stars because it's just that...average. I love the convenience factor and some of the meals are pretty tasty. I do like that they use organic ingredients. BUT, I find meals get mixed up quite a bit or have missing items. For example, I had a Buddha bowl today but it was missing the eggs. Also, my husband listed that he doesn't want onions in his meals and it is very unclear as to what meals contain items and half the time he gets onions and ends up not eating. I have already cut out his meal plan because he was so frustrated. Again, the reason I continue at this point is convenience and quality of ingredients, but I think there is a lot of room for improvement.

Eh...Some really nice qualities but lots of room for improvement. Eh. We are on the paleo plan. We’d rather a low carb plan but it’s not available to our knowledge. Some of the meals taste good. Some don’t. Some of the meats are tender. Some are dry. The fish is frequently overcooked and bland. The chicken breast is almost always dry and rubbery. The chicken is also not organic or pasture raised. It’s antibiotic and hormone free which frankly is nothing more than slick marketing. All chicken boasts that. Purdue makes that claim. And their chicken is terrible quality. They give way too much yucca and sweet potato in every meal. We end up eating sweet potato or yucca 4-5 days out of the week. Too much. They give cauliflower rice with some dishes which is great. But they don’t cook it at all seemingly. It’s hard and bland. They are pretty flexible in. Allowing you to choose your meals for the week which is great. They claim to use grass fed meat, wild caught fish, and mostly organic produce. If it’s true that’s great, but who can know for certain? I’ve had other services blatantly lie to me about the quality of their foods before. Not saying farm to fork lies just saying I can’t be certain so I’m choosing to trust them. All in all I would say they are better than other food delivery services I have tried. The dishes taste better than most other services for the most part. I’m also a functional health coach and I know a tremendous amount about food and nutrition. More than most people know. So I am going to be a tougher customer. I give 3 stars. If I had the option to sub my starch in every meal for more leafy greens or more protein without limiting the meals i can choose from, I’d give 4 stars. Some really nice qualities but lots of room for improvement.

I highly recommend Farm to Fork I highly recommend Farm to Fork. Overall, I give this service a solid A- and will be a long-term customer. I have tried 3 prepared meal delivery services over the past couple of months. Of the 3, I truly like and recommend Farm to Fork and one other. Personally, I like the other a little better than Farm to Fork, but Farm to Fork is a very close second. Below are my thoughts and comparisons of the two. The one that I did not like and wouldn’t recommend is Factor75. Most important – the food. The food from Farm to Fork comes well packaged and a good size portion. I am never hungry and sometimes it is a little more than I actually need. The other service I recommend and Farm to Fork are the same when it comes to this. Also, the food is tasty and well-prepared. Overall, I would give the food an A-. On this point, I’d give the other service I recommend an A. Honestly, I think the taste of the other service is a little better (even though Farm to Fork is excellent as well). One thing I don’t like about Farm to Fork is I haven’t been able to find out if they use wild caught or farm raised seafood. Also, for standalone chicken, the quality is good, but when they stuff things like lasagna or burritos, it seems like they sometimes use lower quality chicken meat. The other service wins on this point. They use wild caught seafood and always seem to use chicken breast in all dishes. Breakfast options. This is where Farm to Fork wins hands down. Many more options and super, super tasty. The deciding factor for me on any given week is the particular menu and what dishes I want that week. Ideally, I would order from the other service in light of all of the above (as I do like the food a little better from the other service), but sometimes if the menu from Farm to Fork is more enticing, Ill order from them (or a combination of both). And, generally, I do like the Farm to Fork menu better re: variety and options. Delivery. To me, this is a big downside. I live in a gated community, without a guard and they deliver in the middle of the night. That means, I have to leave my phone on and get woken up in the middle of the night to let them in. On the other hand, the other service I like delivers during normal hours, so I can be awake and not inconvenienced. For most people, this probably wont matter, but just an FYI. Billing. Farm to Fork is simple and straightforward. If you order and confirm it, they bill you. If you don’t order, no bill. The other service is a little more complicated and pre-charges you in advance and if you reduce or cancel your order, you get a credit for future use. I like the way Farm to Fork handles this much better. Flexibility. This is a reason why I sometimes don’t order from Farm to Fork. They require a minimum of 10 meals each week. Sometimes, I don’t want 10 meals or want to mix and match with another service due to variety / options. The other service I recommend lets you order as much or little as you like and is more flexible. Pricing. Pricing is transparent and you can easily compare and see for yourself. From a pricing perspective, I think it is fair. Some services are slightly cheaper and others are slightly more expensive. I think they are reasonably priced for the quality, portions, and service they provide.
