GBGreat option for the city If you're willing to have limited options but good ones, it's a great economical way to do lunch in NYC. It's hard to cook and bring food in this city when you're working long hours so this is consistently a great way to keep me from spending too much on meals.

GBAwful service Awful service, no customer response at all. Have to pay to even see what they have, and be warned - they'll rob you of your meals if you don't keep subscribing. It's also extortionately overpriced - restaurants have a "mealpal" special, which is basically a bare-bones, skimpy version of anything they'd normally sell. The only exception is Patty & Bun, who offer a decent lunch, so if you're happy to eat burger & chips every day it's probably just about worth it. Though still more expensive than a daily McDonalds.

GBGood value and quick but not all restaurants are good Very good value and quick to get food. But some places give tiny portions and there isn't any ratings on the site for restaurants or meals, despite giving feedback on each meal eaten I tend to go to the same 3 or 4 places most of the time. Restaurants tend to rotate meals most days but do not really change what's on offer over any extended period so it can get boring But overall the value and time saved in line makes it very worthwhile

GBBad UX, dark patterns, not worth the cost Not only are the restaurants you get access to limited, along with the food options (mostly chicken), they charge your account without letting you know for months and refuse a refund. I’ve lost hundreds of dollars to this passive subscription. A terrible company with dark patterns all over their UX. Steer clear and avoid at all costs!

GBGreat deal all around It’s a pretty great selection of different food items at reasonable prices. Eating out for lunch in the city can be expensive, but meal-prepping every day is tiring as well. MealPal allows me to do a little bit of both for almost the same price as prepping every day.
