LOOK: Chat w/ Cust Svc Confirms Stripe Takes Your Money Even When They Cannot Explain What It Is For! Here is a chat with Stripe Customer Service during which they inform me that they cannot explain why they are deducting money out of my checking account until AFTER the withdrawal has alread occurred. Unbelievable. Check out this chat with Stripe Customer Service in which they clearly indicate they cannot tell me what a charge is for until AFTER they WITHDRAW IT FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT! You can't make this stuff up. So what is this additional $106? Please just provide a breakdown of that amount. Are you unable to do this? If you are unable to figure this out, how do you expect me to be able to? This process should have taken no more than 2 minutes. I'm not trying to be critical or short with you, but it is a very serious issue when customer service cannot instantly explain what a charge like this is for. P Thank you for waiting. They are taking huge amount of money to the stripe platform and then in the name of verification they will hold money for weeks and they wuld decide to close down account, but still will be holding those money in stripe, won't even refunds to customers and won't release it to business, won't even reply to any of your emails. AVOID TO USE STRIPE , there are lot of better genuine options to use same financial services.

Recent all 5star reviews are fake, you can see those people are invited to give review (its literally shows invited users on the review). If you see real reviews are all 1star or 2star reviews, they are taking peoples hard earned money , hold it for weeks , use it for their personal use, and then they would refund it whenever they feel like, no fixed time policy in place, literally scams going on here, guys please be careful , DO NOT use this company at all by reading fake reviews, they are holding my 2000 pounds from 11th April , not getting responses on emails , no chat/call options allowed for my account

Read Before It's Too Late If you are a small business owner, using Stripe is like giving your money to a random person on the street and hoping they don't run off with it. I've seen amazing businesses destroyed because of Stripe's horrible fraud detection algorithm. It's 2024, and they still can't figure out how to develop a competent algorithm that can tell the difference between a glitch and actual fraud, and their customer service team will eventually stop responding to your calls, emails, and DM's once they freeze your funds. They froze my funds for 5 months, and the only reason I got my funds back is because I got a lawyer involved to get ahold of them (they ignored my emails for months), and they finally realized they made a mistake and released the funds. Had I not hired a lawyer, my funds would still be stuck in the account, probably forever. Protect yourself and your business by staying far away from Stripe.
