GBRead Before It's Too Late If you are a small business owner, using Stripe is like giving your money to a random person on the street and hoping they don't run off with it. I've seen amazing businesses destroyed because of Stripe's horrible fraud detection algorithm. It's 2024, and they still can't figure out how to develop a competent algorithm that can tell the difference between a glitch and actual fraud, and their customer service team will eventually stop responding to your calls, emails, and DM's once they freeze your funds. They froze my funds for 5 months, and the only reason I got my funds back is because I got a lawyer involved to get ahold of them (they ignored my emails for months), and they finally realized they made a mistake and released the funds. Had I not hired a lawyer, my funds would still be stuck in the account, probably forever. Protect yourself and your business by staying far away from Stripe.

GBWorst experience with platform. Worst experience with platform. Holding 2000£ from 11th April and not responding to any emails , no reply at all from any form of communication. They decided to close account on stripe long time ago, not refunding any money they ate holding and not even releasing to any accounts. First email they mentioned they will revert whole amount to the original payment method it was paid on 22nd April, today 26th april, still no update, no refund ,and stopped replying to any emails. Avoid this company at all cost if you dont want your customers money stucked with them.. there are lot of better options for payment than this 1000% better

PHTori from Stripe Tori went above and beyond. She called me and walked me through my options. She called me and explained everything to me, which I didn't expect. Basically, I was having a problem with something that couldn't be explained over a chat message. That’s why she offered to call me. She has been providing this support because it is something she is passionate about. Tori deserved a raise! It is imperative that you protect her at all costs!!!!!! Please!!!!!

LTThis company does not protect the… This company does not protect the sellers at all - their customers who bring them money. The support service is a complete zero, with standard response phrases, without any insight into the situation. We had a nonstandard situation where a buyer made a purchase and then a chargeback via Paypal (Stripe synchronises payments via Paypal). When we refunded the buyer via Paypal, we thought it would synchronise with Stripe, but no way - Stripe charged us again and refunded the buyer on their side. It came out a complete nonsense - the buyer got the money twice! Is it common sense that the buyer is receiving a double refund? All the evidence has been provided that we have paid the full amount under the charback dispute. This is nonsense! No amount of proof and no amount of requests could help us... They didn't even look into the situation.

MAMissing Payout Missing Payout Refunded April 11, 2024 08:48:39 BST Hi Stripe Team, Please help My bank did not accept the payout *po_1P2Nt6JMt0FDKnqjAkVcyCLX* and it was refunded to Stripe has been more than 13 days, I have updated my bank details, but the payout still hasn't appeared back in Stripe.
