GBRestaurant.com is a complete scam Restaurant.com is a complete scam. They will sell you certificates that won't be accepted at the restaurant. None of the restaurants I have certificates for have ever heard of the company and all deny signing up with them. This is a scam. Don't waste your money.

GBCompany Removed My Gift Cards and Took Credit I had $150 in restaurant.com gift cards. On Jan 17th, I transferred them to the app according to their faq page. I purchased $60 in certificates for places in my kids' college towns. The following day, I had none of the certificates and no remaining credit showing. I have contacted them a min of 5 times by email and I have received only responses regarding where to find the gift cards and certificates. There has been no acknowledgement of my loss. I called their customer service last week and they said it was escalating and I would get a response asap - nothing. BBB has suspended their company!

GBTotal scam I paid for a $100 gift card from restaurant.com. I never received the card despite having my cc charged immediately. I called/emailed 5 times to their customer service after two weeks of hearing nothing. I was told numerous times my case was being "escalated to customer service for review and would be notified their findings in 24-48hrs. I went throug 5 cycles of that never hearing anything from their end. Finally I gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company who investigated and within 48hrs refunded my money. Restaurant.com is nothing but a scam as far as I'm concerned.

GBThe Balerno Inn Edinburgh The Balerno Inn is a local eatery/pub in the village of Balerno set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the Pentland Hills which is a short bus ride +- 35 mins from the city of Edinburgh. The interior is warm and welcoming with wood burning fire for the winter and outside caters for everyone and everything the Scottish weather has to throw at you. There is a fab jungle gym to keep the little ones entertained whilst the adults can choose from various outdoor seating arrangements including heated booths and cabins. The atmosphere is upmarket but down to earth and very very friendly. The staff go above and beyond to help you have a fun time and best of all the food is fantastic but reasonably priced. Don't miss this little gem on your next trip to Edinburgh. Social distancing and sanitising was enforced in a discreet but efficient way
