AJ Lawnmower Repair Service AJ Lawnmower, Inc in Villa Park failed on several levels on tuning up our lawnmower. First time I used the lawnmower after getting it back from them I check the oil and there and there was barely a reading on the dipstick. So, whether they changed the oil or not is now very questionable at best, but they definitely didn't refill the oil. Thankfully I checked it and didn't assume they did their job correctly. Additionally, I hadn't seen the mower prior to the "tune-up" because it was given to us by my father and went from their house to AJ's. When I got it back, I noticed immediately how worn the front tires were (it's a self-propelled mower). They were totally bald and one of them was cracked down the middle. When I talked to them about these things I was basically blown off. I would have expected a phone call regarding the tire. They called when they wanted to replace parts on our generator that they were also "tuning up". Now, I have to bring it back to someone (will not be AJ's) to replace the tires or find someone that will come to our house to replace them. Very disappointing experience.

Great for gripes- but USELESS for help Yelp is a "tech company' yet unlike any other tech company they can't respond to emails or help requests without taking days instead of hours . I've asked for help deleting yelp posts I"ve written because the app won't allow me to remove them. Yelp replied it can't remove them either. Then days later, wrote back with a stupid reply congratulating me for removing the posts and telling me to be sure to write back if I needed any more help. NO POSTS WERE ABLE TO BE REMOVED.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I cancelled my business page in February and they debited my account afterwards. They still have not refunded my funds. I’ll keep contacting them until I get my money back.

They’re scammers!! They’re scammers!!! I own a business and they tell you reviews are automated and can’t control anything when all they do is lie and take your money buy forcing you to place ads. The reviews that they approve are all fake and the legit ones are never approved! I spoke to a guy name Cody and he was so unprofessional! He told me I can speak to her manager and email her at “mad at yelp.com”. Obviously that is fake! He should be fired!
