The Pharmacist & Staff are very professional & friendly. In fact I am going there tomorrow for my flu shot, and my Moderna Booster 💉 ouch 🤕🤞😓 We even have a StarBucks inside our Giant Eagle ☕️ I have been a loyal customer of Giant Eagle , SquirrelHill , Pittsburg , PA , since our UPMC days in the late 1980’s . Our only son was born @ Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburg . Since then Giant Eagle was always there for our midnight grocery & diaper runs , cakes , breakfast muffins and everything in between … 💗 Thank You Giant Eagle for being our Friendly Neighborhood Grocery Store 🏬 Plz don’t forget to sign up for the Giant Eagle Rewards Card . GBThis is now my favorite store since… This is now my favorite store since they changed their name to Market Place. Their attempt to become an upscale store is paying off for the customer because they are now offering a wide array of different foods and fresh cuts of meat, and it doesn't hurt that you can still save dollars at the gas pump. They are still more pricer than their competition but, the savings at the pump is a plus.

GBBad customer service I was shopping at Giant Eagle in Akron on Waterloo Rd and went to pay for my items at a self checkout lane. Immediately a woman who works there came over and started bagging my items while I was scanning them. An item had part of the label ripped off of it which had the bar code on it. The woman took the product and did not apologize for the inconvenience scanned a similar item and told me the item that had damaged packaging.was going home with me. She acted as though I was trying to do something bad. I have been shopping there for 20 years and I was treated very rudely to a point that I may go somewhere else to do my shopping. I was very upset. I realize shop lifting is rampant but I am an honest person and have been shopping there a long time. I also work for a pharmacy in the area for 5 years. I will write and call to everyone I can to let them know how horribly I was treated.

GBYou have to bring 2x’s satisfaction policies to Giant Eagles attention. Questionable Policies. !!! According to Giant Eagle, they offer a 2x your money back on Giant Eagle brand products for satisfaction. The problem is that they don’t offer the guarantee. If you don’t bring the policy to their attention….they will never give you 2x’s your money back. They are only getting 3 stars because they have never denied the policy to me but I do have to ask them for it.
