GBHorrible produce. Giant Eagle can be a great place to shop, if you don't mind paying higher prices. However, not all are equal. The one in Garfield Hts, Ohio is absolutely horrible when it comes to produce. I have tried to overlook my experiences many times, but after buying a bag of apples, in which half were spoiled, I'm done. Quality control seems to be nonexistent and while I understand staffing issues, maybe it's time to close if you can't maintain a standard.

The Pharmacist & Staff are very professional & friendly. In fact I am going there tomorrow for my flu shot, and my Moderna Booster π ouch π€π€π We even have a StarBucks inside our Giant Eagle βοΈ I have been a loyal customer of Giant Eagle , SquirrelHill , Pittsburg , PA , since our UPMC days in the late 1980βs . Our only son was born @ Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburg . Since then Giant Eagle was always there for our midnight grocery & diaper runs , cakes , breakfast muffins and everything in between β¦ π Thank You Giant Eagle for being our Friendly Neighborhood Grocery Store π¬ Plz donβt forget to sign up for the Giant Eagle Rewards Card . GBGiant eagle just gets worse and⦠Giant eagle just gets worse and worse.they hire the most incompetent workers.my recent visit was another nightmare. The cashier,was unable to understand whst a 4 packof batteries was. I explained it several times he still tried to ring up a 10 pack. Then deleted it and my advantage card number.when inrealized no perks were on my receipt i went back in the store.the cashier tried to tell me i never gave him my advantage card!.i went to the service desk but lo and behold it was closed and the employee was on break.at 9:30 a.m! The store opens at 7 a.m. and inly one cashier was working. The other was buying scratch off lottery tickets.requests to page the manager were made,and i was asked what did I want. No manager bothered to find out what the customer wanted.break was more important. Giant eagle will mot see me as a customer again.

GBI've tried 3 times to get my issue with⦠I've tried 3 times to get my issue with my Advance Pay account fixed with no success. Giant eagle has the worst Customer Service department I've ever dealt with. Even cell phone companies aren't as bad as Giant Eagle. Everything is set up, so their CS department tells me, but I've tried 3 times to use the Adv Pay at the GetGo pump with no success. Giant Eagle CS depart would not help me, they told me it was a GetGo problem. I went to Get Go, they told me I had to go online to get it fixed. That sure was a waste of my time. Terrible company to deal with.

GBBad customer service I was shopping at Giant Eagle in Akron on Waterloo Rd and went to pay for my items at a self checkout lane. Immediately a woman who works there came over and started bagging my items while I was scanning them. An item had part of the label ripped off of it which had the bar code on it. The woman took the product and did not apologize for the inconvenience scanned a similar item and told me the item that had damaged packaging.was going home with me. She acted as though I was trying to do something bad. I have been shopping there for 20 years and I was treated very rudely to a point that I may go somewhere else to do my shopping. I was very upset. I realize shop lifting is rampant but I am an honest person and have been shopping there a long time. I also work for a pharmacy in the area for 5 years. I will write and call to everyone I can to let them know how horribly I was treated.
