GBThe best thing I did for my sciatica It has been on my mind to write a review for Core Balance Training for awhile now. I took the class last April through June because was so desperate for relief of my sciatica which I had been dealing with for well over a year and a half. I was begging my husband to let me get surgery, but because his mom had such a bad experience, he was willing to let me try anything short of surgery. I was taking NSAIDSs daily and tried prednisone several times. I had 2 bouts of PT and cortisone shots and was looking up exercises and help on the internet everyday. Sometimes I would get better for a little while, only to re-aggraavate it within a few weeks. At my worst, I couldn't walk more than 5 steps without sitting, couldn't stand for more than a minute, and could not go out to do my shopping, let alone play my favorite sport pickleball. One day I was scrolling Instagram feeling very depressed. I came across Core Balance Training and figured why not give it a try? I found Dr. Peebles videos so helpful. He really explained things in a way that made me finally do many of the exercises I had tried in the past correctly. Instead of engaging my legs, I learned to properly engage my core. I learned to lift things properly and even sit, stand, and walk properly. It has become part of my everyday movement. To this day, I begin my day with my "back exercises," a 15-20 minute routine in which I put my favorite exercises from this program together. I am happy to say I have been pain free since last August and I never plan to go back, now that I have these tools and wisdom. I even play pickleball with my all at least 4 tines a week. Every time I see someone who struggles with back issues, I tell them CBT was a life saver and the best thing I ever did for my back.

GBCBT is a life changing experience Me before CBT: Lower back pain, could not bend forward to back without feeling pain in my spine, could no longer sleep on my back because when I did something pushed out from my spine and made sleeping on my back painful and uncomfortable. I did not have an understanding of how to treat my body to avoid putting strain on my back. Me post CBT: No more lower back pain, can bend forward and back without pain, can sleep on my back again (yay!). I have also learned so much about integrating healthy habits into my life. I now take a 1 hour walk every morning, and I take active measures to connect with my core and breath better. I am creating a maintenance plan from the list of exercises in this program so I continue to feel good. CBT has been a life changing experience, and I brag about it any chance I get.

GBCBT gives you control over your low back pain I could say any number of positive things about this program, but what Dr. Ryan and his team have done is create a tool that puts back pain sufferers in control of their own day to day life. I do not have to wait to see a doctor or physical therapist if I have a pain flare up. Setbacks can be endured and overcome by following the steps of the program, and this single feature has given me the most hope. I no longer worry about setbacks, so I am more confident doing things that used to create anxiety and fear. And the support you receive through the weekly livestream question and answer sessions is priceless. So grateful I discovered Core Balance Training!

GBThis helps so much more than back pain! I didn't have back pain but I have Diastasis Recti. I took this course to help avoid surgery and although I don't know if it fixed everything perfectly, I am so much more functional. My core is functioning how it should now and I had no idea how bad it was before I learned how breath, walk, and stand correctly again. It's been at least 8 years since I could do those things correctly. This program has been truly life changing and I feel like everyone should do it! It's affected every part of my life for the better.

GBGreat program. I had become discouraged about my back pain. My MRI diagnosis contained the words "severe" over and over again. I did not want to try surgery, and the last time I had a joint injection they hit a nerve because the space had grown too narrow. By connecting to my "anchors" as per this program, I immediately felt relief. It was empowering to affect the change myself. I continue to make the time each day and I'm stronger, more mobile and I'm not done. I also love that he has you "do less" when you need to! Less is still a step forward toward core strength, balance, and mobility.
