About Core Balance Training

Dedicated to reversing the causes of lower back pain, Core Balance Training is an online program that uses core activation and movement retraining to help people improve posture and escape the back pain cycle. Students first learn how to activate the spinal support muscles of their deep core by connecting to their 'Core Anchors', then how to apply that connection to movement. Students are guided through a system of core-based movement, resulting in a healthy core connection and supported spine in activities of daily life. Core Balance Training was founded in 2016 by Dr. Ryan Peebles, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has committed over 20 years to better understanding and reversing the root causes of chronic lower back pain. After overcoming his personal struggles with back problems, Dr. Ryan now guides others to get out of pain. The 12-week program can be completed by all ages and fitness levels. It begins with simple core-based movements, progressing to functional and complex movements over a 3 month period. All movements become healthy for the spine, allowing students to return to higher level activities, such as fitness and sport without pain. Other outcomes are improved function and reduced or eliminated lower back pain. Because the solution focuses on education and movement retraining, the results of Core Balance Training are typically lifelong.

FINALLY This program delivered something that decades of searching did not. Chiro in particular was my only out with chronic back pain. A band aid at best as anyone who has relied on this method knows. Chiro has its place but knowledge is key. This program provides key info that transformed my relationship with my back problems.

Congratulations to this faboluous program I truly enjoyed not only the structure of the program and its different components such as the daily emails, videos, etc., but also the honesty, the transparency, the fact that I never felt being part of a scam, manipulation or anything like that but to the contrary, a guy and his team truly wanting to help people. It all started with the offer of the first 7 days of training with no payment. That’s what really sold me into the program.

CBT is a life changing experience Me before CBT: Lower back pain, could not bend forward to back without feeling pain in my spine, could no longer sleep on my back because when I did something pushed out from my spine and made sleeping on my back painful and uncomfortable. I did not have an understanding of how to treat my body to avoid putting strain on my back. Me post CBT: No more lower back pain, can bend forward and back without pain, can sleep on my back again (yay!). I have also learned so much about integrating healthy habits into my life. I now take a 1 hour walk every morning, and I take active measures to connect with my core and breath better. I am creating a maintenance plan from the list of exercises in this program so I continue to feel good. CBT has been a life changing experience, and I brag about it any chance I get.

Great for posture correction The program is well suited for correcting your posture, especially problems with anterior pelvic tilt. With correct posture you will be able to improve your condition faster and prevent further injuries. It will also give useful advice on dealing with pain during everyday activities.

Great program. I had become discouraged about my back pain. My MRI diagnosis contained the words "severe" over and over again. I did not want to try surgery, and the last time I had a joint injection they hit a nerve because the space had grown too narrow. By connecting to my "anchors" as per this program, I immediately felt relief. It was empowering to affect the change myself. I continue to make the time each day and I'm stronger, more mobile and I'm not done. I also love that he has you "do less" when you need to! Less is still a step forward toward core strength, balance, and mobility.
