GBForced Cookie Acceptance Blocks Ability to Read Privacy Policy Visited Canto to explore image tag editors, and couldn't interact with anything on their site because of the persistent Cookie Acceptance dialogue box, which actually blocks you from being able to read the Privacy Policy. Because the dialogue box blocks any site interaction whatsoever, you can't scroll through the policy and see what it is you're actually agreeing to. Since they offer no way to set your cookie preferences—it's all or nothing—you have no idea to what extent they're tracking, using, or selling your data. Whether it's intentional, or just a webdev oversight, it's BAD FORM. I would typically mention something like this in a contact form, but again, you can't actually use the contact form until you've agreed to a policy that Canto prevents you from reading. Will update review upon resolution of this issue.

GBEasy to navigate and customizable I use Canto to manage images for marketing and website purposes. So far this is my favorite file management system. It is easy to navigate no matter the person's skill level. I can share files via email or a link. I can make folders private if not everyone has the copyright to use the photo. I can select the file size when downloading and select the dimensions I want. Thumbnail loading can lag sometimes but the downloading is fast. I recommend Canto!

GBDest DAM system I set up Cantos original DAM system "Cumulus" at Honda R&D in California more than 10 years ago to help access, secure and organize their tens of thousands of vehicle, facility and product assets. It helped tremendously reduce the time needed to find and download files. The security of our images is most important. To ingest the files and know they are safe and easily found is key. Canto makes a great product used world wide for just this purpose.I recently helped nonprofit Surfing Heritage Cultural Center set up Canto and it helped them realize the value of their images and files.

GBCanto has saved us countless hours of… Canto has saved us countless hours of searching across devices, departments, servers, etc. for our assets when a client calls. Their custom gallery portals are also an excellent way to allow our customers to view and access the assets we want to share, while keeping "working files" behind closed doors. Overall amazing product!

GBSimple DAM that quickly solves asset management issues Pros: Simple to use and works in both a browser and a desktop app. It has previews for Adobe native files which helps a lot when looking for specific assets. Cons: The UI isn't great — it's not easy to view + pull down assets quickly without "going into" them. The UX could definitely benefit from some tweaking, but no major issues blocking functionality. Overall: Simple tool to solve DAM needs!
