Simple DAM that quickly solves asset management issues Pros: Simple to use and works in both a browser and a desktop app. It has previews for Adobe native files which helps a lot when looking for specific assets. Cons: The UI isn't great — it's not easy to view + pull down assets quickly without "going into" them. The UX could definitely benefit from some tweaking, but no major issues blocking functionality. Overall: Simple tool to solve DAM needs!

Forced Cookie Acceptance Blocks Ability to Read Privacy Policy Visited Canto to explore image tag editors, and couldn't interact with anything on their site because of the persistent Cookie Acceptance dialogue box, which actually blocks you from being able to read the Privacy Policy. Because the dialogue box blocks any site interaction whatsoever, you can't scroll through the policy and see what it is you're actually agreeing to. Since they offer no way to set your cookie preferences—it's all or nothing—you have no idea to what extent they're tracking, using, or selling your data. Whether it's intentional, or just a webdev oversight, it's BAD FORM. I would typically mention something like this in a contact form, but again, you can't actually use the contact form until you've agreed to a policy that Canto prevents you from reading. Will update review upon resolution of this issue.

Canto makes Digital Asset Management a… Canto makes Digital Asset Management a Breeze! Canto makes it easy to share our images, videos, and designs with vendors and customers. The initial onboarding did take some time and there was a learning curve to get used to using Canto. However, Canto is a much better solution than having our files scattered in various places such as dropbox, email, and messenger apps.

Canto has helped us to create a… Canto has helped us to create a searchable archive that covers 40 years worth of imagery. On of the most valuable functions is that we can add release dates based on when our shows air, or when a magazine hits newsstands. The Canto DAM has been an incredibly positive experience. The team at Canto has been amazing to work with and always has or will source answers and tips with a quick turnaround. I'm looking forward to years of using this system as an internal research and sharing tool, as well as a marketing tool for our external partners.

Canto: The Team Member You Need Canto: The Team Member You Need! Canto has provided a centralized hub where team members can collaborate. It has eliminated the need for multiple, duplicate files that take up shared drive space and cause confusion. It also provides the best Customer Service of any vendor with which I work. They are proactive in checking in, making sure we are maximizing our use of the platform and informing us of new functionality that is released quarterly. We have been so pleased, we signed a three-year contract when renewing our agreement. Can't recommend them enough!
