As a therapist, I'm very frustrated. I am a therapist who has used this platform and all was going well for 4 months until suddenly I received emails telling me 3 of my clients' insurance is actually NOT covered. They said that two more sessions would be covered partially in the email, but it is unclear on how that will happen and how much the patient will be charged. Now treatment is being disrupted for these clients and clinical care is on the line. Headways help service is terrible. There is no phone number to call, you have to submit online help tickets which sometimes don't take because their tech system glitches. Even if it does submit, you may be lucky to get one response per day which is unacceptable given time limited clinical issues that impact whether my clients can be seen this week or not. I can't get any reassurance that this issue won't continue, so why would I keep taking on clients that they can't actually verify insurance accurately for? The lack of ability to get help is a major problem. These tech companies don't fully realize the industry they are dealing with.

Needs improvement Firstly, something needs to be fixed with the initial scheduling. I have chosen a date/time for multiple individuals (I schedule the appts for everyone in my family) and EVERYTIME the date / time chosen is no longer available after I finish all the steps. I get this notice by e-mail that I need to reschedule so I log back in, do it over. Sometimes thats the end of it but most of the time, the person msgs to say they want to reschedule. Headway is just the platform but they need policies in place to make this process better. Second, the filter when you're initially choosing is buggy. It will say there is no one in my town at all. Then I scroll in on the map and there will be 2. Then I scroll to a neighboring town for more options and 5 show up in my town. Also it seems like the same names are inexplicably showing up at the top. It's not by alphabet, distance, or most compatible. idk maybe the therapists pay to get to the top? On the user end it wastes time and is annoying.

FINALLY a company that takes care of patients AND PROVIDERS I love how they actually take the life and value the provider and streamline services so we don't have to waste time chasing money, filing confusing claims, and we can focus on providing SERVICES that we are trained to do... THERAPY! I also loved how during the cyber attack they continued to pay us. If it wasn't for the consistent payments I received through headway, I would have been forced to shut down my private practice and may have not been able to feed my family.
