Wonderful therapist… My therapist is absolutely wonderful and I like that they send me plenty of reminders. Much better experience than Sondermind. So far I have not had any billing issues although when I first made an appt I got a vm that I needed to add my cc info before 3pm or my appt would be cancelled. Super weird. Even after I added it I got another message after my first appt that it wasn’t in there. Hoping I will not run into any nightmare issues some others are describing but so far so good.

No transparency, one step away from a scam LifeStance Health was the first mental healthcare provider I have made an appointment with. It was incredibly disappointing, the psychiatrist did not ask questions and the appointments would last no longer than fifteen minutes. However, they would charge me a Level-4 visit, which requires about 30-40 minutes with the patient, plus 20-30 minutes of write up required of the doctor. I can tell you that even if our meetings were 30-40 minutes long, there was no additional work done afterwards because there is no forms or write ups on my profile that I can access from my doctor. Medication was given fairly quickly but it did not feel like they were checking in on whether or not it worked - just billing me monthly for "providing medications" (which was bills on top of paying the pharmacy for medication). If you are even thinking of LifeStance, get ready for bills with no explanations on receipts and no transparency. I would receive bills randomly, months after my appointment so I couldn't even figure out what the reason for it was. They were never upfront how much it would cost either. For someone with anxiety and depression, having random bills appear made everything significantly worse mentally. I genuinely feel like they are taking advantage of people who are at a low point in their life. I had chosen LifeStance because their website looked the most professional out of all the providers in my area, but it was all a facade to cover up their sketchy practices.

BILLING DEPT SUCKS!! BILLING DEPT SUCKS!!! My insurance tells me I owe one amount and then Lifestance sends me a bill for a huge amount that is incorrect. THIS HAS HAPPENED REPEATEDLY. You CAN'T EVER get someone on the phone and the VERY RARE times you can, you are always given an Excuse their phone system is being fixed, they have new management, etc.... It's always Something! It's just all Truly Unprofessional and a Headache to deal with! I Like Meah McCray alot but I can't afford being over billed and then getting letters that my account is going to collections! This has been going on for a few YEARS now and I am DONE. YES, I SAID YEARS! The only people that can possible be happy are the ones with Medicare, Medicaid or Commercial insurance with No Copay. If you have a Copay stay FAR AWAY from this place!

Unprofessional & Full of Issues I do NOT recommend going here. Not only did one of their psychiatrist try to guide me towards a fake service dog registration site; which is extremely harmful and unprofessional for someone in this field, since only letters are legal and registration sites are all fake and not protected under ADA Law. I wanted to cancel my follow-up appointment after this horrid experience, which I made sure to both message and call one month ahead of time to cancel, and I was given assurance that my request would be done. What did I get a month later? A missed appointment fee, for the appointment that I was told would be canceled after I had reached out. This practice is not worth your time and they simply don't care about you. Their only concern and desire is to drain you of money, and they will use ANY means necessary in order to do this and make your life hell.

Only adds to stress! Only adds to stress to your mental health! I've been working with this organization for 5 weeks. Was assigned a horrible therapist who wound up leaving the organization after 2 sessions with me stating the companies vision didn't align with hers. In addition it is practically IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human being unless it is about setting up an appt (getting money from you), or billing (getting money from you). There is no way to upload documents directly to their portal for review. Requests for assistance from both staff and Dr. are impossible to get timely...again...did I say MENTAL health? At one point I was told that documents I needed to return to work had been uploaded and taken care of, only to see the original documents with NOTHING updated. In addition, I have not gotten paid in 5 weeks due to their lack of follow up. This organization has done nothing to help me besides give me drugs...increasing dosages, and billing me. DONE!
