Avoid!!! Avoid!!!! They do not pay out for genuine claims! We have been waiting since August for the claim we put in, they stalled it for months then said they needed to speak to the vet, the spoke to the vet then they said they needed more paperwork, they had it all and it was signed by the vet and everything filled in correctly. They have since just ignored us. They are not a genuine company I would never recommend them to anyone and would avoid them at all costs. I wish I would have looked at the reviews now before choosing them for pet insurance last year.

STILL WAITING FOR A CLAIM STILL WAITING FOR A CLAIM! We submitted a claim 4 weeks ago and still waiting for the claim, with little communication. They stated 2 weeks inc fast settlements- we have submitted 3 claims and I can tell you this is not the case. Me and my wife have £2000 sitting on our credit card and are going to miss payments and incur cards, so this is why we are deeply annoyed. Avoid!!!

DO NOT use 4 Paws pet insurance DO NOT take out pet insurance using this company! They completely ignored the information provided by my vet about the date something happened and then tried to do some dodgy maths saying that it had happened before the date it actually did. Then they sent a follow up email saying either way they weren't paying out. It was very rude and basically refused to look further into the details and just outright denied our claim. (Which the vet assured us would be covered on insurance). They still haven't paid out and it has cost us nearly £1000 for sh-ite insurance and the treatment. Could have saved myself £300 if I had just paid outright for the treatment rather than throwing it away on insurance which apparently wont cover anything. Many people had told me not to bothered getting pet insurance because it is always crap, but I wanted to be covered from when we first got out kitten so he would be covered for his whole life... My advice to people considering pet insurance, DON'T especially if you are thinking about using 4 Paws.

SUPER IMPRESSED WITH 4PAWS INSURANCE! 4Paws Insurance is a wonderful company. Very quick with processing claims and the best customer service anywhere. Jason is beyond fast answering emails and also very friendly and knowledgeable; he genuinely cares about your pet. Worth the monthly premium.... I'm so glad I chose 4Paws for my pet's insurance needs. Very impressed!

Avoid at all costs Avoid at all costs. They are not interested in keeping customers. I was with 4Paws for 2 years with 2 dogs and at the most recent renewal they hiked my price up by £240 for one of my dogs despite never making a claim. I decided that the level of cover I had was no longer necessary so decided to reduce my cover to save on costs. They were happy to do this but insisted I take out a new policy, despite being with them for 2 years meaning that for 14 days my dog wouldn’t have been covered. Absolutely disgraceful. Needless to say I cancelled my policy and have gone elsewhere.
