Rude Customer Service Representatives Spoke to both customer service representatives regarding a claim number and they are both rude! They sound condescending and rude all throughout the call. They also sound as if they hate working. Those types of agents should be terminated. I even asked for a supervisor multiple times but they said there is none which is impossible. I want someone to contact me back as I want this to be escalated higher. Change the CSRs you outsource!

I will NEVER buy Cigna insurance again I will NEVER choose insurance through Cigna again! All of my healthcare policies are handled through VIA Benefits. This is the company chosen by Chevron USA for its retirees and it's perfect. Annually, toward the end of each year, I choose insurers on the VIA website for a Medicare supplement, dental coverage, a prescription plan and eye health coverage for the upcoming year. I've NEVER had to cancel a policy that I wasn't renewing using their system. If they weren't chosen my premiums stopped. BUT Cigna charged me $33 each for Jan & Feb 2024. When I called for a refund, I was told that it was my responsibility to cancel the policy and that I WASN'T DUE A REFUND. In addition, in order to speak an RLP, you have to break thru the wall created by their AI idiot. And when you actually do reach someone, they have heavy accents making them difficult to understand.

Fax and checks... I have dental claims to send and they only accept them...by fax from a personal fax number. Or sent by post to Tennessee. I'm in Austria, and that's how I have to submit claims?? Anyway, if approved, I would then have to receive a check at my old American address, or sent to the HQ of my former employer (that employs 100,000 people). No possibility of changing the address or of sending a bank transfer. Disgusting company.

Denied MRI Even When Requested AFTER X-Ray Due To Trauma What is the point of having a doctor telling you (and requesting) an MRI for severe trauma when Cigna will deny it regardless, with no way to appeal the decision and then have then pass the buck to someone else. They cannot even have the decency to tell you on their website/app even though you receive an email stating there is an update. I had to find out just two days before my scheduled appointment. Useless insurance company, useless customer service staff and without the requested MRI, no specialist appointment to rectify the damaged joint.

I want to give them zero stars - avoid like a disease I want to give zero. These guys are absolute crooks. AVOID!!. I took out PLATINUM insurance and it's virtually impossible to get any refunds for medical services out of them. I have cancelled but will now take action
