Their customer service is the worst Their customer service is the worst! I do not recommend Cigna. It is unacceptable that Cigna take your money and don't upload to activate your dental insurance policy for >21 days. The issue is still not resolved after three, 1 hour phone calls. I was passed around many departments, because it wasn't their problem to solve. Cigna you need to do better!

Denied MRI Even When Requested AFTER X-Ray Due To Trauma What is the point of having a doctor telling you (and requesting) an MRI for severe trauma when Cigna will deny it regardless, with no way to appeal the decision and then have then pass the buck to someone else. They cannot even have the decency to tell you on their website/app even though you receive an email stating there is an update. I had to find out just two days before my scheduled appointment. Useless insurance company, useless customer service staff and without the requested MRI, no specialist appointment to rectify the damaged joint.

bad experience I got Cigna insurance provided by my former employer. During my employment, I already observed very inconsistent service level by Cigna, they rejected some services for some colleagues but reimbursed the same for others. And when a manager stepped in, they eventually compromised and fixed it. Now I left the company, and they keep rejecting many of my claims, and I have no one to represent me and protect my legit benefits anymore so they just ignore all my claims and complaints.

I want to give them zero stars - avoid like a disease I want to give zero. These guys are absolute crooks. AVOID!!. I took out PLATINUM insurance and it's virtually impossible to get any refunds for medical services out of them. I have cancelled but will now take action

I wish I could give them 0 stars I wish I could give them 0 stars. I currently have terminal cancer. Unfortunately my cancer spread to my bones and I was in need of new chemotherapy, it took them months to approve. By the time it was approved, my cancer has progress massively to where the pain is unbearable. I have to sleep sitting down to get any shut eye. I can barely move my arm so my doctor sent me for radiation because of the severity of the pain and cancer in my bones. I have been waiting weeks and cigna will not approve my radiation. I've gone months without treatment, everyday getting closer to death and they do nothing to approve my treatment. What I'm getting from this is that since I've already met my deductible and coinsurance they're just pretty much waiting for me to die at this point in order for them not to have to pay for anything. These people are literally killing me.
