Denied MRI Even When Requested AFTER X-Ray Due To Trauma What is the point of having a doctor telling you (and requesting) an MRI for severe trauma when Cigna will deny it regardless, with no way to appeal the decision and then have then pass the buck to someone else. They cannot even have the decency to tell you on their website/app even though you receive an email stating there is an update. I had to find out just two days before my scheduled appointment. Useless insurance company, useless customer service staff and without the requested MRI, no specialist appointment to rectify the damaged joint.

I work with over 50 Out of Network… I work with over 50 Out of Network providers and Cigna has always been a favorite carrier until today! Cigna is working with DataiSight that prices non-contracted claims under the MRC rate. The claim in question processed at 75% of the Medicare rate, but Cigna already confirmed the claim would be processed at 110%. This is unethical!! Shame on you Cigna!!

Cigna Scam Artist With Claims my son to the nearest emergency room. Days earlier he had been to a Cigna approved urgent care. Had they treated him correctly we would not have been in the ER at 1:30 am with an allergic reaction causing huge hives and pain to his neck, shoulders, and hands. Apparently I should have gone to the further ER that was in network and took a chance on his airway being compromised and told him to just suffer with the pain. He was given several IV medications, monitored and sent home. Long story short they will not pay the doctor as they say he is out of network so Im sure they will not cover the visit. Cigna makes me ill. I don't know how these people sleep at night. 03/13/2024 I have sent an email twice with no response. Now I would give zero stars if it was an option.
