If you are ordering in Canada, you will get nailed with an exorbitant duty fee! Horrendous. I was hit with an $87 charge on top of the already expensive shoes I ordered because KURU does nothing to address customs and duty fees for their customers. They don't make this clear during checkout and know you're just going to get nailed with this fee when it arrives, and they do not provide any cooperation to cover fees or reimburse. They are intentionally misleading and do not provide this information during checkout. I love these shoes and used to recommend these to everyone I know but this is the last time I will ever order from here.

Kurucanada.com is a fraudulent website Kurucanada.com is a fraudulent website. Do not purchase from them. I made the mistake of purchasing a pair of shoes and immediately was suspicious so I reached out to Kuru in the USA and they told me they are not affiliated with this Canadian website and to contact my credit card company asap!!!

Avoid this company Avoid doing business with this company. Although they advertise free returns for 45 days, since my $165 shoes were discounted by $10 ( to $155) they were classified as “last chance Final sale” and ineligible for a refund when they did not fit. Although I read the return policy, I was unaware that a paltry $10 discount negated any hope of a return. I think this is a very shady way of doing business.

So misleading I ordered some shoes for a trip, with enough time built in to break them in first. I paid for expedited shipping so I expected them quickly. When I had not received notification of shipping by EOD of the business day they should have shipped, I called to see if my order could be cancelled. She said it would be. However, she failed to tell me that the shoes had already shipped and I would still be charged for the expedited shipping. It arrived in my city and was sent back to the retailer. If I had known it had shipped and I would still be charged shipping, I would have at least tried them on. Frustrating waste of $30.

Too hard of a footbed, uncomfortable & unyielding on cement floors The shoes feel and look of good quality materials. I found the break-in period did nothing to help with my plantar fasciitis. It was since day one I found the footbed hard and unyielding. I work on cement floors all day and could never get past a 1/2 shift before needing to swap out and wear a different pair of shoes. I ordered prior to changing my position from office to sales floor so by the time I got through the break in period it was past 45 days and KURU wouldn't refund even though the shoes are nearly new. This is the 2nd time I gave Kuru a try and will not bother with this brand again.
