Great feeding support The Tot Squad helped answer all my questions about starting solids with my baby. It was easy to book a call with the Tot Squad and easy to find a time that suited me. My coach was informative and answered all my questions about baby led weaning. She also provided additional resources for me reference. If I had more specific questions or my baby had issues with solid foods, I would definitely use Tot Squad again. My favorite aspect of the Tot Squad was the ease of booking an appointment and meeting via video chat. Thanks to the Stellar Panel for connecting me to the Tot Squad.

Friendly Support from the Comfort of Home The Tot Squad support system is wonderful! My coach was personable and knowledgeable. She had multiple recommendations for me in regard to my original inquiry about bottle feeding my breastfed baby. I felt my coach had a rich background and experience with helping others. And we were both chatting from the comfort of our homes! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who needs a little extra support. Booking the appointment was quick and easy. It started on time and as I stated previously, my coach was amazing! I will definitely use this service again. My absolute favorite part of this service was the personal integrity of my coach. I felt as if I was confiding in a friend. I would like to thank the Stellar Product Panel for directing my attention to this opportunity.

What a great resource To start, booking with TotSquad was so easy. The scheduling system was quick and easy to use, and there were so many choices available for my session. Also, there were tons of time slots and plenty were early morning or late at night after the kids were in bed, so it was really convenient. I really liked my coach, as she was a mom herself and was super personable. I showed up in my towel after a shower, and she completely related and didn't make me feel bad for not being put together. She was easy to talk to, really knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. She even took time after our session to send me helpful links and resources based on our convo. I would absolutely recommend TotSquad based on my experience. While I generally don't seek outside advice like this, I found it refreshing to speak with someone in a relaxed setting, who wasn't my doctor but was more experienced than a friend. Especially when the internet can be overwhelming, it was nice to get guidance specified to my situation.

A swing and a miss... I learned about Tot Squad through the Stellar Product testing panel. Originally, this service was offered for $50 with a $50 gift card back, so there was nothing to lose and I was excited to try it out. I love the idea of this service, but in all honesty, it was a major miss and that’s coming from someone who hates to be critical of new businesses. Purchasing the service was easy. Scheduling the appointment was fairly easy, although the scheduling form was a bit confusing because it referenced different time zones. I was able to give information about what I was hoping to get out of the 20 minute appointment, so I was excited to get my questions addressed. The appointment was a complete disappointment. First, the appointment is 20 minutes long. You can’t do much in 20 minutes especially if you exchange pleasantries and my coach was a few minutes late. The services totes itself as a video consult, yet, my coach didn’t stream video. Instead, I stared at a photo of her. Our visit was riddled with connection issues and I had to strain to hear and understand what she was saying which resulted in a ton of talking over each other and even more lost time. She was very sweet and seemed to be knowledgeable, but didn’t address any of the things I had inquired about but instead focused on my son’s reluctance to bottle feed (it was a starting solids appointment). I appreciated her suggestions, but it wasn’t what I paid for or was looking for. Quite frankly, I suspect that pretty much any of the information you can get through any of these consults you can get through your pediatrician or a lactation consultant for far less money if you have insurance, or in some cases can find with a simple internet search for free. My experience was not worth $50, and maybe not even worth $10 to be honest. I just kept thinking how upset I would have been if I would have paid for it. I think the service could be good, but would take some serious overhauling such as lengthening the time but not increasing the cost, figuring out a way to solve connection issues or just do phone based appointments and offer packages with the same provider so a relationship can be established...I think this would work better as an ongoing mentoring type of service as opposed to a one time appointment. Bottom line: skip it and seek this information through your child’s doctor as a first option!

Tot Squad consultation I got to participate in a consultation thanks to the Stellar Panel. It was a great way to review basic nutritional principles and also get into unique ways to get my toddler to eat more veggies. A great way to learn, be reassured, and make a plan.
