This was an okay training program This was an okay training program. However, the app had many glitches. When I started, I had to do video recordings to answer the challenge questions. That was not enjoyable whatsoever. Also, when I started this program, I was told/promised many things. But at the end, NextStep went back on their word. Mentors were friendly but not too knowledgeable, and the weekly calls were kind of annoying. They use an internet system to make this phone calls and I could hardly ever understand what my mentor was saying to me. I don't think this program helped me (training wise) get my certification. I've had plenty of experiences through my work places that helped much more.

Great program Great concept, great setup. The mentors have a lot of miscommunication going on. I spent an unnecessary couple hundred dollars cancelling childcare and hotels because they scheduled me for the wrong labs and clinicals twice. I almost spent another unnecessary hundred dollars because they wanted me to get a third tb test. Lots of typos in the theory portion.

Awesome It was great. It was an amazing experience working with these residents. Also, how the NextStep mentors were super helpful and understanding with everything trying to help us out with achieving this career. Overall I love how supportive everyone was with us.

Loved it Getting graded on the submission videos in a more timely manner would help . Also in the app the practice lab symbols could be right before final exam. A few of us were mislead thinking we hold off on those skills until practice lab starts. But other then that the instructors are awesome doing their best with this new way of learning. Vey helpful also.

All around great experience can’t wait for them to add more like a LPN training course would be awesome! Thanks next step for making it possible for me to make a career change so late in my life!
