GBI have purchased two beautiful… I have purchased two beautiful Breathtaking antique ladderback chairs on 1stDibs. the first a lovely prim and beautiful childs chair for one of my antique cloth dolls and it is breathtaking. I just recently purchased a CA 1700 red ladderback full size chair with arms and glorious turnings for my husband at our antique Sawbuck table in the kitchen again breathtaking. GBMy recent purchase turned out to be… My recent purchase turned out to be quite disappointing. The lamp I purchased through 1 st dibs developed a fault less than a year after the glass inexplicably broke as we were serving dinner. This incident has led me to believe that there may be a flaw in the design. When I brought this to the seller's attention, they "generously" offered to replace the glass all that at my expense plus the shipping costs, which I find unacceptable for a brand new item. Instead, I proposed purchasing a different lamp and requested the seller to replace the glass at no additional cost. When I suggested this, they offered a mere $150 discount on the second lamp, which I found to be quite insulting. As a result, I have set the lamp aside and am considering disposing of it. 1st dubs did not try to intervene with the seller. I am very disappointed int heir service you would think that the quality of the customer service is more elevated

Still, over the last year, as the stock played ping-pong, the quality and volume of cheap products, unverified vintages, and prices started at $17! It has proved useless. They kept dropping the monthly subscription fees to avoid attrition and sourced their customer support to India, which was a total disaster for us.
