Good value compared to competition I have never claimed (but evidence suggests this is not an issue): what is good is the price: Argos pat insurance is good value. I have two cats insured with Argos (one at £7000, the other £2000, both life). There does not seem to be additional costs to claim other than excess.

My Italian Greyhound X Whippet had a nasty gastrointestinal infection resulting in several hundred pounds worth of fees. The claim was straightforward. From submitting the claim to receiving the money in my account was 10 days - this included the insurer verifying fees with the vet. I chose Argos because they were only a little more expensive than the cheapest quotes but had good reviews. I’m pleased to say that assessment was right - they’ve delivered and the pup is now back to normal.
