One caveat: the frets were a bit off and choked when lowering the action so I had to take it to a local luthier to fix the problem. I may opt for a Plek setup. That is something you should consider as an extra cost option. I know Sweetwater, from whom I purchased the guitar, offers it as an option. Overall a great piece of musical equipment and a name I have always wanted to include in my harem.

I inadvertently ordered the wrong case… I inadvertently ordered the wrong case online. Neither the D'Angelico or Paypal website would allow me to cancel and reorder the correct one. In my desperation I contacted the D'Angelico office using the number listed on the company's googled information. A very nice lady told me it wouldn't be a problem to modify the order and she would send the request to the proper department. I received the correct guitar case. GREAT JOB!
