Great customer service The products and prices were great, however the thing that stood out the most was the customer service. My shipment was delayed because of a snowstorm in our area and UPS was unable to deliver on the day specified. Mountains Plus called me to let me know of the delay and the updated shipping info. I had a great all around shopping experience with them.

Stand up Company who did the right thing I recently ordered a Thule bike rack from Mountains Plus. It arrived in terrible condition (damaged during shipping) and Mountains Plus made it right for me. This item was dropped shipped by a third party so the damage was not due to anything on MP's end, but they quickly stepped in and made it right for me. I appreciate their attention to detail and the fact that they initiated contact with me, rather than me having to chase them down. I'll gladly do business with MP in the future and recommend them as an outdoor gear retailer whom you can trust.

EXACTLY As I Expected Hopped on-line, late one Sunday night -- needed a full rack for my car to carry home my new kayak. Knew what I needed from the Thule web site. Went to Mountains Plus; found exactly what I needed. Additionally, found that it was 20% off (saved $120)! Ordered. And because I was given discounted shipping, I upgraded to expedited shipping. Received everything I ordered that week. Positively wonderful experience.

WORST SHOPPING EXERIENCE I placed my order for some snowshoes with Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear on Dec. 1, 2014, and after the worst shopping experience of my life, I finally cancelled the order today, Feb. 12, 2015. DO NOT shop with this company. I placed literally dozens of phone calls to their Customer Service (speaking with Colby and Doug on multiple occasions), and never got any service whatsoever. Excuses, unanswered emails, and false promises to call me back--this is all I ever received

Good Deal on Snow Shoe Bags After some difficulty getting the "My Troop" authorization recognized by the Mountains Plus web site -- mostly my fault as a new user -- I was finally able to complete this transaction. The customer service when I called was excellent, and he tried to help as much as possible. Finally, I figured out I had to actually sign up as a member, not just as a guest user!! I have been looking for a reasonable price deal on Crescent Moon snowshoe bags. Mountains Plus had a sale on these bags, and once I had the membership process completed, I purchased the two bags. The actual transaction was smooth and efficient. The bags were great, not seconds or rejects!! Overall, I would recommend this site. They do a great job and will only get better as this site grows.
