It is a very helpful app because you can price compare what the going rate for a book resell is and is get the best value for books that you plan to resell. By using book scouter, I made $130 on books that I was originally planning to give away.

Do not use this site/ app Do not use this site/ app. I sold textbooks to them and took pictures of my books before I sent them. My textbooks were in good condition. One textbook had only been used a few times by myself and they emailed me after I shipped them saying that it was in poor condition. Instead of receiving a check in the mail as promised I was informed that I would have to PAY them if I wanted to get my book back. It is a total scam to have to pay money to get my own textbook back. Do not use this company, they will keep your textbooks and not pay you for them as indicated in their "buyback claims". This company is a fraud. No idea how they can still be in business. They still owe me my good condition book back. Which I am sure they have already re-sold and made money off of .
