FRRelitavely satisfied, but not on every aspect of the brand. I have owned a first gen Trophy 3.5 bought in 2012 and a Maverick Strada MT bought in 2016. When it comes to the trophy, I do not remember it being very expensive, probably like 300EUR or even less when bought. The build and material quality seems pretty good and am satisfied with it. It was bought in 2012 and is still well running very well today for an 11 year old model. I did have to replace the engine once which is normal for an old nitro. When it comes to the "lowcost" brand Maverick which HPI owns, I have had nothing but problems with cheap quality plastics of the Strada MT I have, and the fact that at the time they used HXT plugs for ESC's and Batteries which is a good thing they switched to deans now since it was almost impossible to find decentley priced batteries with HXT connectors. I hope their Maverick products have gone up in quality since then even though it is a possibility that their Maverick brand products are just rebraded by the chinese company HSP Racing which are known to be quite poor in terms of quality since all parts are compatible, however I can not confirm for sure that Maverick are rebranded HSP Racing models. For the last note I have to admit that genuine used parts for HPI products are highly overpriced. I recentley had to to buy a universal front drive shaft with rotating joint and only a pair was possible to purchase at an insane price of 45EUR. I can understand that HPI Racing would like to consider themselves as a luxury brand but they have to understand that some of their prices are clearly unreasonable.

GBDo not buy HPI, it should be their catchphrase! I purchased an HPI Trophy 4.6 over a year ago and I still cannot use it. It constantly fails to run or even pull away without stalling (I've run it in by the book), cheap quality parts and poor build quality from this company. I also have a 10 year old HPI nitro car and never had any issues from day one. Its no wonder they had so many owners with such poor products.
