Save yourself the headache and use ThriftBooks.com Item was listed in good condition mentioned that it came with the CD but did not include the CD. Customer service took 5-7 days to respond and still failed to answer my question after I asked and readied. Shipping was very slow. Will never be purchasing from them again. I’ll stick with ThriftBooks which is an amazing website for used books!

Described as a new book, but is a used book The seller LibraryMercantile from Humble, TX, U.S.A. described the book as being new, but it is a used book. Being in good condition doesn't compensate for lying about what you're selling.

I bought a study book for my Granddaughter I bought a study book for my Granddaughter. The order was via Mispah Books in Surrey, UK, and the book was sent from New Delhi. It arrived around 2 weeks sooner than expected, was very well packaged and is exactly what I ordered. I don't always give reviews but since I had read some negative reviews about Abe Books which made me feel a little worried about my expensive purchase I decided a good review was very well deserved. I am thrilled with the purchase and my Granddaughter was very excited to receive the book.

The Place to Buy Books. Have been buying through abebooks since at least 2002. In over a hundred orders I have never had a problem. A time or two, I have wished that a particular bookseller had packed the books more carefully, but that is the exception. Some of the bad reviews posted here would be avoided if buyers would learn to read the listing. There are a number of large national booksellers that list on abe. That is fine, and their prices can be very competitive. However, their descriptions are often general and not specific to the copy that you may be interested in. In those cases, expect the condition to be on the lower end, and hope to be pleasantly surprised (it happens). Also, many books are listed with a stock photo, not the actual book that is for sale. If it is labeled "stock photo", pay attention. That is not the book that you are buying. If you are in doubt, contact the seller. Their response will be a clue as to whether you want to deal with them.

They hadn’t made it clear that the book… They hadn’t made it clear that the book only consisted of the soprano line of hymns. I needed full music and returned it the next day costing about £9 for Royal Mail tracked. I’ve had several replies to my request for a refund all saying it’s on its way. Now about 2 months later nothing has been refunded. I’m having one more try but don’t expect I’ll get my refund. Will not use them again.
