GBMy experience is likely unique My experience is likely unique. Aside from the slow delivery, the book arrived jammed into a bag that was too small for the book. When I attempted to remove the book, the dust cover was torn because the bag was as tight as a second skin around the book. Nothing can be done because the damage is my doing, however, it's also not OK the way the book was packaged for shipment.

GBI purchased a book through Abebooks…CUSTOMER BEWARE! I purchased a book through Abebooks (Hippo Books) on March 9, 2024. I never received the product. Their have been no updates from USPS. I have attempted to contact both companies via their website emails and phone. There has been NO RESPONSE to the emails and the both phone numbers just tell you to contact them via email with no way to speak to anyone or to leave a message. I will now have to resort to contacting my credit card company. Customer Beware!

IEDescribed as a new book, but is a used book The seller LibraryMercantile from Humble, TX, U.S.A. described the book as being new, but it is a used book. Being in good condition doesn't compensate for lying about what you're selling.

GBWould give Abebooks 0 stars if I could Would give Abebooks no stars if this were possible. Bought a book in January and it never arrived. No one replied to my emails and there is no way to contact them. Please do not try to buy anything from them as nothing will come.

GBI would do negative 5 stars if I could I would do negative 5 stars if I could. I was about to buy a book set that was listed at $101.00. I emailed them about a price drop. Within that time frame. AbeBooks went and hiked up the price to $250.00. Then AbeBooks had the nerve to email an explanation “Book prices can fluctuate based on various factors such as their perceived value, rarity, and demand in the market” I watched that book sit at $100 up until the day I emailed them about it. I’m pretty sure that is bait n switch which is illegal. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT PURCHASING FROM ABEBOOKS.com unless you want to get scammed!!!
