FIRST RATE COMPANY! This is a general review of my business dealings with StewMac. I've bought a lot of tools and materials from them over the last few years (well over $5k) and have never had a bad experience with them. On the rare times there were issues on an order, they ALWAYS responded quickly and in a positive, professional manner. Their customer service personnel are knowledgeable and very friendly - it's like shopping at a home town store. I live in Alaska, but my orders arrive in VERY good time and are well packed. Are there cheaper places to shop? I'm sure there are for some things, but overall, the quality product, free shipping for members, and helpful, competent staff outweigh the differences. The other big plus to doing business with StewMac is the reference material available, from the tool instruction articles to Shop Tips and Dan Erlewine's informative, fun videos. A great customer experience all around!

The best tools and guitar parts for the money. I have ordered different products from… I have ordered different products from StewMac and different orders through out the last few years. I have always been satisfied with their products and their speedy ship out time. I also like their DYI/ 'how to' videos. I really enjoy being able to use their tools and products to upgrade my guitars and in turn make them more enjoyable to play.

Missing part from my order Had a small part missing from my order. Emailed customer service and they shipped the missing part off to me immediately. This has always been the standard of excellence with STEWMAC and why I keep going back to them for high quality luthier parts and supplies. Thanks for being a great company with great people!

I appreciate that StewMac makes demo videos… I appreciate that StewMac makes videos in which the craftsmen speak plainly and film an understandable demo of the different processes. I received my Mighty Mite neck and although I love it I will need to smooth and dress the fret ends. I like buying tools that the pros use but after buying a cerrtain number of the tools my budget gets tight and I still have a shipload of things to do to make my raw ash body a bass so I did not buy a fret file. I'm going to try 400 grit sandpaper. If you want I'll send you a pic after I get the StewMac parts to help me apply a binding to the front edge! Be blessed but be the blessing, Andrew Jeffries

StewMac is reliable StewMac is reliable when it comes to my guitar repair and luthier supplies and tools needs. Much of what they carry cannot be found elsewhere. They are prompt in filling orders and getting them shipped.
