GBI currently own a Lexus GX470 and I… I currently own a Lexus GX470 and I always thought of purchasing a RTT. I have 2 little kids and traveling outdoor is been my main thing without having to setup a generic tent. Luckily, I stumble upon inspired overland. I have been communicating with the owner back and forth and he answer all of my questions. One thing I really like about this tent is that it is super light and it’s so easy to open/closed. Meaning more time for off-roading.

GBMisrepresented shipping rates signal more red flags I spent a lot of time researching rooftop tents and had a good chunk of that time wasted by Inspired Overland's misrepresented shipping rates. They were quick to reach out about shipping costing almost double the $350 rate listed ($620), but were not very helpful about anything after that (and had already promptly charged my credit card...). When I called to chat I left several messages before reaching a person. They hadn't read my emailed response for an entire business day and were more concerned with setting me straight on shipping costs than making things right. Everything came across as very unprofessional and fly-by-night, and I'm ultimately glad to have learned to avoid products from Inspired Overland. Wish I hadn't wasted the time, though.

GBOverall 10/10 Overall 10/10 Installation is easy with brackets provided. Setup and deployment is fast. The tent is extremely light and manageable. Stayed dry in a winter storm 60mph plus winds. Thick material for winter and opens up to large screen windows for the warmer weather. Stoked for sure on this tent upgrade from my other tents.

GBCustomer service needs some help I am thankful that there is an option to save money by picking up an RTT locally to save on shipping costs. It would be great if the staff at the pickup site was knowledgeable and friendly.

GBWell made but too short I received my rooftop tent in good condition on May 19, 2023. I purchased it because of the weight of 86 lbs and low profile. Looks good overall on my black Jeep gladiator and it’s made well. Sleeping pad is comfortable in my opinion. I’m 5’7” tall and weighs 150. I just fit and laying down straight my feet (size 8) touch the ceiling. Not great. XL or longer would be better. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is taller than me. Other concern is the light weight tonneau cover on top of the tent for tree branches. My other roof top tent is hard shell foldout style with California king size mattress dimensions (not the thickness) is super comfortable and spacious but it’s too heavy at 168lbs.
