Empava Cooktop Frustrating to Use We purchased our Empava cooktop about one year ago through Amazon. The first thing we noticed is when you turn the switch on for a burner, it's tricky and often doesn't light up. You have to keep trying to turn it on, and if you're lucky, eventually it ignites. Now approximately one year of ownership, the large middle burned won't ignite. We thought it might've been clogged, and took everything apart and cleaned it out. We reached out to corporate via their website, but no company representative responded. We wish we would've kept our Whirlpool cooktop.

Terrible customer service I bought an Empava 36” induction cooktop. It worked decent but started malfunctioning 1 month out of warranty. My first call I was able to speak to a support rep who had me email proof of purchase and a video of the problem. Since then I received 2 very vague emails on parts that I need and it almost seems like a scam the way I was told to order the parts. I have called countless times with no answer and left several messages with no return call. I would not recommend due to this being the worst customer service I have dealt with. I have recently started a kitchen and bath remodeling business and guess what brand I will not be recommending. Update!! Since writing this review I was contacted by Empava customer service and they sent the parts I needed free of charge.

Great customer service Great customer service! Received notifications every step of the way as far as tracking. Also received my orders very quickly. One came damaged and I got with customer service and they took care of my order very quickly and got me a new one sent right away. Highly recommend!

Bought a 2 burner induction cooktop Bought a 2 burner induction cooktop. Bought it over a year ago and just recently installed it in a new addition to home. Worked for about 3 days. Right burner worked fine. Left burner non-functional. Customer support chatbot(?) was initially very difficult to work with (as all chatbots are). Had much better luck once I was able to get through to a actual person. They agreed that unit was not working as it should and worked with me to get it replaced. Looking forward to getting a replacement. Have a 24 inch Empava wall oven that works like a charm so am looking forward to getting the matching cooktop replaced.

Good product, manual could be better No problem with delivery; item was packed well. The manual leaves much to be desired in covering oven's use. The bake burner would not light due to igniter wire shorted against access hole to oven. The oven does have very good temperature control with its proportional-control thermostat. I could recommend this oven.
