GBExpect the unexpected Review Content: What after 50 years of cooking and now I find the best way to cook! 20 years to go with Miriams cookware for the rest of my days because the food tastes twice as good. What happened is I bought this pot to cook meat in it and was told to season it first by cooking rice, lentils, quinoa etc first before cooking the meat so I did and was not even really planning on eating the rice I cooked and then looked at it and thought that looks better than ever and tasted it and wow give me a break it was the best rice I have ever cooked but how to take credit for adding water to rice and setting to oven temperature. So now this pot is not for meat it is for vegetables and everything else including meat. BTW I did cook the meat and just like the other foods I cooked in this pot turned out more real somehow I could taste more tastes and different tastes. I cannot explain it in words but the food is somehow more real and pasta is now something not to just eat but savor each bite. If you do not have one of these pots you have to get one for the excitement of spending time in the kitchen. Out of 25 different cooking devices in my kitchen that are all top of the line this pot is now #1 without any hesitation I will say. So happy my other chemically infused ceramic pot cracked so I made this fantastic discovery. I hope you are as happy as I am with the beauty of the pot also you will not want to put it away but rather keep it in site day dreaming of your next meal you are going to get to enjoy.

GBTHE BEST NON TOXIC COOKWARE! I have been detoxing my kitchen switching to non-toxic cookware, bakeware, glassware, etc... Originally I switched to mostly cast iron based upon my initial research and recommendations from other people. But I was still skeptical about the cast iron since I was using it multiple times of day....I was worried about the amount of inorganic iron leaching into our food. Then by chance, on my research marathon again, I stumbled upon Miriam's Earthen Cookware....the best thing I ever did. I only have one pot so far, but use it for almost everything and love it! I love that it is completely non toxic and the food tastes amazing! This is the best non toxic cookware and I sleep better at night knowing that no chemicals are leaching into our food. I love that I am cooking healthy for my family. You must try this cookware....it will change your life!

GBThe quality of the cookware is OUTSTANDING. The quality of the cookware is excellent and the food definitely tastes better than cooking with stainless steel. I did not realize that chemicals leech from the steel, so cooking with an all natural product is the best way to go. It is also great that the cookware is MADE in the USA. You know your a getting a well-made product and helping Miriam provide good jobs in her area.

GBI have been using these mec pots sice … I have been using these mec pots sice from around 3-4yrs now. Initially it was a challenge cooking in these pots because it was totally new concept for me and I broke few of the pots but as the time went pots became very strong and cooking in them as easy as cooking in regular metal cookware. Definitely cooking time is a bit longer as when compared to the metal cookware but the taste n flavour you get from cooking in these pots is so good that it just cannot be compared . I have personally seen and have been experiencing the health benefits from using these pots I can definitely say that my resistance power has been increasing gradually through the years. Pros: 1) definitely 100% tasty healthy and flavour full food each and every time. 2) once it seasoned and used with little care it can be lasting for years. I have been using my rice pot for more than three years. I cook twice a day in the same pot. 3) cleaning is not at all hard just after cooking we have to leave the pot till it cools down and then we have to soak it for about 5 min or so that's it you can clean it right way with out any hard work . 4) once pot got seasoned nicely it doesn't take much oil for cooking. 5) makes perfect brownrice, hand pounded rice. Cons: 1) initially don't go for preparing any kind of curries or deep fries in it as it will absorb lot of oil n pot may break. Just use it for cooking brown rice or soups or lentils or dals till the pot gets seasoned nicely. 2) bit more time taking than regular cookware. I have been using mec pots n refered these mec cookware to many of my friends.

GBIt is a good experience to cook with… It is a good experience to cook with Miriam earthen cookware with my daughter every time! My daughter love the pot .she said:it is so cool and interesting.I bought two pots .one is for cooking rice .it is smells much better and taste better than before i used metal cookware! And i can enjoy the cooking time as well much more than before! And i met the owner before who is so kind and nice . She is very patient and eagle to answer you all questions about how to use clay pot. Thank you so much Miriam and hers ! I definitely will recommend to my friends my coworkers my mom who live in China now !!!
