Beautiful and Functional Knives I ordered two knives. One of the knives arrived new in the box with a loose handle. I contacted The Forged Blade about the defective knife and they personally called me and resolved the problem to my complete satisfaction. Their knives are beautiful works of art and strong useful tools. One day I will pass them down to my sons as heirlooms. Razor sharp nice knife The knife I received is razor sharp and seems to be good build quality. I ordered the Santoku and it works very well for preparing everything from meat to veggies

The appeal of the knives was what… The appeal of the knives was what caught our attention, and the price seemed good. I'm not someone that knows anything about knife weight and whatever other characteristics people care about, so I can't leave an educated review on the effectiveness of the knives; however, what they did do is make me want to cook more, and actually do it well, and those are two qualities of cooking I've never been inspired to improve at. I don't know why having a few of these knives in my kitchen would make such a difference, but it's gotten me reading books, which is a feat in itself. Thanks Forged Blade, you make awesome stuff!

High-quality knives I'm absolutely thrilled with the Explorer set! The santoku knife and chef's knife are both fantastic and allow me to slice through meats and veggies like butter. The bread knife is also excellent and slices through everything from crusty bread to juicy tomatoes. The wooden handles are beautiful and comfortable to grip, and the set comes in a sleek and stylish package that really impresses. The only downside is that I wish the explorer collection included steak knives as well. Overall, I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for high-quality knives that will elevate their cooking game.
