Ordered 2 knives to try something… Ordered 2 knives to try something different because I love cooking. The 1st one is the santoku explorer series, I love the shape, the weight, the look , the handle is comfortable and it is very sharp. The 2nd one I purchased was the 8" chef knife explorer series also. Also very nice and and sharp. Both knives came individually in a nice box and shopping was very fast considering that I'm on the opposite coast. Cost was very affordable.I recommend this product

Beautiful and Functional Knives I ordered two knives. One of the knives arrived new in the box with a loose handle. I contacted The Forged Blade about the defective knife and they personally called me and resolved the problem to my complete satisfaction. Their knives are beautiful works of art and strong useful tools. One day I will pass them down to my sons as heirlooms. Amazing knives and customer service! I ordered the Wildrose Damascus 5 piece knife set for myself and an Explorer 6” for my Dad. The knives are a thing of beauty and wicked sharp!
