The knives are beautiful! The knives are beautiful! I'm a knife guy and I was looking for something that would be cool to roll out when I go out on a camping expedition. Enter Folded Steel. Not only are the knives sharp, but they are also wonderfully made, beautiful, and the leather wrap they come in is made of actual NICE leather rather than the cheap stuff a lot of companies use. I got to admit when I ordered them I didnt think I was going to like them as much as I did, but now I find myself looking at other knives they make too (Serbian Chef anyone?!) The only thing I would say as a potential drawback to someone is that I ordered the Lotus and the handles are a little on the smaller side (from a width standpoint.) I don't have huge hands so it was just fine, but someone who has really large hands may find that they wanted to go with something slightly larger.

Hopeful but disappointed. I picked up the Lotus set hopeful that it would perform how it looks. I was skeptical of the source of the steel for the knives and you tend to get what you pay for. Out of the packaging one of the six knives was actually sharp, disappointing since all of these are supposed to be inspected by hand before they are shipped to a customer. However I was able to put an edge on them and put them through some testing. I immediately noticed that only one of the knives had a smooth finished handle. The rest the wood was rough and there was a slight edge between the wood and the tang. Who's to say how these would perform long-term but I still did not like the feel in my hand. The handles were also thin and lighter in weight to other chef knives. Knives are a very personal choice in cooking and I am not a professional but a home cook. The lack of attention to detail did not inspire confidence in me that these knives could go the distance. I gave it two stars because the customer service was pretty decent and within a week of receiving my return knives granted my refund.

Quick and sharp!!! First off, I love my Wolfs Bane 8” Chefs Knife. I originally bought it as my girlfriends birthday gift but quickly claimed it as my own. The customer service/speed of delivery were exceptional. Guess I’ll get her the Butchers knife next :). Thanks guys!!

A fine Damascus tool for a rustic wedding… I have been looking for a fine Damascus tool to use for a cake cutting knife at my upcoming wedding ceremony that looked like it might be in place in a 1700-1840's environment (long story; another time). I tried 4 knifes on 3 different cake styles. I like Dahlia Carver-Slicer the best. I like the feel of the blade and how it handles, even when not cutting cakes. Nice around the grill. Nicely balanced.

Customer service was great Customer service was great, super responsive and quick. Got the 8" Lotus, the blade itself was very nice although thickness of the main body is thicker than I expected so I'll be using it for jobs that require less precision. Also there was a C.O.D. that I needed to complete before I could receive my knife. It was the first time I've encountered that so I was just surprised.
