Knives are terrible unfortunately… Knives are terrible unfortunately they're all looks I wrote an email in detail explaining why. Basically they are sharp but the bezel is to wide and low, so it hits whatever you're trying to cut crushing it before the cut is complete.

Customer service was great Customer service was great, super responsive and quick. Got the 8" Lotus, the blade itself was very nice although thickness of the main body is thicker than I expected so I'll be using it for jobs that require less precision. Also there was a C.O.D. that I needed to complete before I could receive my knife. It was the first time I've encountered that so I was just surprised.

Firstly I purchased the Dalia set Firstly I purchased the Dalia set, asked for a refund before it even arrived so they could just cancel the transit and not have me pay to return it. They couldn't do that even though it's an option through USPS. Then my set arrived, I got the wrong set. They sent me the lotus, they were willing to swap them out but at this point I'll just keep them. As a chef. There's absolutely no way these knives are worth $550. I've bought $60 knives that cut way better and aren't built so thick. These knives just bash everything open instead of slicing.

Hopeful but disappointed. I picked up the Lotus set hopeful that it would perform how it looks. I was skeptical of the source of the steel for the knives and you tend to get what you pay for. Out of the packaging one of the six knives was actually sharp, disappointing since all of these are supposed to be inspected by hand before they are shipped to a customer. However I was able to put an edge on them and put them through some testing. I immediately noticed that only one of the knives had a smooth finished handle. The rest the wood was rough and there was a slight edge between the wood and the tang. Who's to say how these would perform long-term but I still did not like the feel in my hand. The handles were also thin and lighter in weight to other chef knives. Knives are a very personal choice in cooking and I am not a professional but a home cook. The lack of attention to detail did not inspire confidence in me that these knives could go the distance. I gave it two stars because the customer service was pretty decent and within a week of receiving my return knives granted my refund.

I was nervous about buying expensive… I was nervous about buying expensive knives online … and my fears were totally unfounded . These are exceptional knives … beautifully made and stunning to look at . The freight to Australia arrived in a couple of days and that’s during a Pandemic ! I’m very glad I bought them
