GBShipping costs are high. I ordered two vanity sconces from the website. They were described as aged brass/satin opal. When I received them they were very brassy and unfortunately would not match the aged brass accessories that I have already installed in my new bathroom. The quality was very good but they didn’t look like the finish in the photo (which is understandable ~ it IS hard to tell the color from a photo). The problem is the original cost of shipping was $30 and it cost another $20 to ship them back. So basically I paid $50.00 for the hassle of purchasing online and then shipping back the product. I have nothing to show for my $50 investment and still have to replace the sconces. I would have considered ordering a different style of sconces from Shades of Light but it is too risky to take the chance that they too may be the wrong brass and then I would be out additional shipping costs. Buyer beware you are not refunded original shipping costs and you have to pay high costs to ship through their designated shipping service.

GBShipping was quick island lights and items packed… Shipping was quick and items packed well. Measurements a tad off so fixture a little smaller but still works. No discounts offered not even free shipping-so made it a big decision after 600 days with no power after Hurricane. I watched these for months- never a sale! All that said Lights perfect for my space!

GBMy first purchase was a disappointment. I purchased a round mirror to hang over my bedroom dresser. The product was delivered as expected and it was packed very well to prevent mirror breakage. I unpacked and installed the mirror but found the mirror reflection to be distorted. The objects in the mirror appeared shorter and wider than in real life. Shades of Light customer service wanted pictures to validate what I described the problem to be. I asked them to trust me. They promptly provided a shipping return label. I packed the mirror and returned it for a refund. They seem to be a responsive company with quality products. Maybe I'll try again another time.
