GBNew Fan After having our living room fan for over a year it began to make a strange sound anytime it was on. My husband called Shades of Light and within a week we had a replacement from the manufacturer, at no cost to us. Our customer service agent, Alexus C., was very responsive, knowledgeable, and so helpful. The experience of having to replace the fan after only a year was disruptive however the process to get a new fan was so easy. Thank you!

GBI was pleased and impressed with Shades… I was pleased and impressed with Shades Of Light. They double packed each fixture in a box with foam to make sure that they arrived. The quality of the fixtures were great. Just to give a comparison. Amazon sent us a $1500 dining fixture in a flimsy box from China and it was damaged when it arrived.

GBAsk for signature on delivery Great selection. Great quality. Complaint is about shipping. I paid $60 for FedEx and there was no specification that a very expensive light should be signed for. It was dumped in a basement mail room and went missing for several days. This was not mail. It was FedEx and should have at least been brought to my door. I blame FedEx and shipper for not specifying the package ($600 light!) should have been handled more carefully.

GBMy experience was very good My experience was very good! I have know shades of light from years ago I. Richmond. I received the future and it arrrived sooner than I thought. I love the fixture. Unfortunately, the bulges that I ordered were very poorly packed for shipping and one was broken. I haven’t reached out to them yet it’s the bulbs were expensive I will ask for a replacement bulb to be sent.
