Excellent quality product, excellent service Thanks to Ellie and Lewis for the great customer service from initial bed order to dealing with an ammendment to my order for additional slats and the delivery and quality of the workmanship in the bed. The whole experience was a pleasure.

Excellent quality My new beds are sturdy, sleek and stylish. Ordering was simple any questions I had the staff at Get laid beds quickly and politely helped settle. My husband who put together the beds felt the instructions were a bit lacking and not specific to our particular bed. Overall this has been a five star experience.

Hugely frustrating and difficult to assemble More pre-drilling needed. Three hours later and the first of two ash single beds is still not built. We are having to drill into every hole to enable the screws to gain purchase into the inserts. Even power screwdrivers cannot force the screws into the inserted solid wood. Perhaps ash is harder than other woods? You don't realize this is a serious assembly problem until you've battled away trying to get the screws in. Then, because they won't go all the way in, you have to take it all apart to pre-drill the holes. I expect the beds will look great once they are assembled but just now I am seriously fed up with them and guests are arriving tomorrow.

Great packaging and finish quality Great packaging and finish quality. Luckily I am not intimidated by assembly. Given this was biscuit alignment and mortise tenon joints with domino's it was straight forward. However, side rail assembly was a bit tricky and must be done by 2 or more people. All in all a great product that arrived early and with no damage.

Bed collapsed underneath me when sleeping We received our bed 3 years ago. Until now, it’s been lovely. Looks nice, appears to be a solid wood. It was a bit squeaky but other than that, seemed fine. The other night, I laid down to bed and the bed literally collapsed underneath me. The side rail broke, and when that happened, the headboard also broke and the middle support underneath broke as well. Husband took apart the bed to find that the joinery that failed was never glued, which is a total rookie mistake. Someone put it together with no glue, painted over it and bam! A failed bed. Emailed customer service with photos and their only solution is to send a few replacement parts. Their 11-year guarantee is trash. Website says “transparent terms and conditions” however I am unable to find the T’s and C’s anywhere on the website. Not very transparent, in my opinion. I am not satisfied with their product, their customer service, or their warranty. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. I spent over 1,000 on a bed that is total garbage. I have cats that like to hang out under my bed and I’m glad they didn’t get crushed as a result of this.
