Excellent gas fireplace system. I might be best characterized as a cranky old man. I’m a retired engineer and very critical of poorly designed products and cryptic instructions. I researched just about every product on the market and in the end I chose Peterson based on their quality and cost. This is an excellent gas fireplace system. Everything I needed was in the boxes and it all arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were clear with good illustrations and installation was easy. Now our living room is toasty warm on those cold winter evenings. We are very happy and highly recommend Peterson.

Everyone loves our new log set! We love our log set we’ve had almost a year now. I was happy to see this reminder to review pop up in my email only after we’ve had some time to use and enjoy our purchase. We had our log set professionally installed by a plumber who previously worked for a gas log company on their installs. He was really impressed with the set and the burner stating it was probably the nicest he’s ever installed! We and our guests all agree. We added black lava rock to cover sand and bright burning faux embers below the logs. We get to enjoy this vented set even more with the remote start. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the ambiance of a real fire with a classic look and ease of use. Thank you!

Remote is a piece of junk! The gas logs look real and perform fine, it’s the remote that is a disaster! The one that came with the set didn’t work so the plumber who installed the logs had to ask for a replacement. The replacement was a different model than the original so The connection had to be modified to work. It worked for 2 whole months, imagine that! First, it wouldn’t turn on then it wouldn’t turn off. The plumber had to change to manual operation. If I had wanted that I would have ordered a cheaper model. Now I have to order a 2nd replacement and pay a plumber again to make it work!!

Easy and cozy!! Works great! Looks beautiful and is so cozy!! We just love sitting by our fireplace now. So happy we converted our regular wood burning fireplace to gas!! We actually use our fireplace very frequently now!!
