USOne of the worst companies I have ever… One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. First, I placed an order with a Visa gift card. There were no issues and I received a shipping confirmation. 3 days later I received a call and email saying the order didn't process and that they need a new credit card for payment. I essentially said no, because it seemed very shady and the order was showing as pending on the card. They also over charged me be $1.02. After arguing about this with customer service (Janice) I said cancel the order I don't want it. They told me to write return to sender on the box and ship it back (which I did). I don't know why they didn't send a return address label (very unprofessional). Now today I checked my card and it was fully processed. SO, they took my money, had me ship back their product and essentially stole from me.

USScammers Selling Over Priced Junk Over priced junk to start with but they had exactly what I wanted. I have since found something elsewhere. 1. The price at checkout and emailed to me after submitting order was changed and increased with no notice or explanation. 2. Customer service doesn’t give a f*** about you. They will just spit out form letters and repeat the same garbage. 3. If you request to cancel your order about 5 mins later you will get a notice that your order shipped and they can’t offer a refund.

USBad seed quality & selectively publishing reviews I ordered different seeds from them and the overall germination rate was very poor. The worst ones were the super sugar snap peas: out of 30+ seeds planted, roughly 80% ended up rotting. The ones that ended up germinating looked weakly and eventually died off. In contrast, I also bought snap seeds from two other companies and the germination rate was 100% & speedy. This means that the issue was with the seeds specifically ordered from Park Seeds. I submitted a review on their website and I'm more than certain they will not be posting it publicly. I only see 5-star reviews for all their products, with several years apart.

USI placed an order with Park Seed on… I placed an order with Park Seed on April 3rd for 4-100 3” Jiffy pots for a total of 400 pots. Total came to about $62.97 including $13.00 in shipping. Today I received an email saying my package was delivered “at front door” in Brooklyn, NY via UPS. I live in Oregon. So I’ve tried calling the company many times and no one answers the phone. I’ve emailed and no response. I’ve now submitted a fraud complaint with my bank and I’ll also submit a complaint with the FBI IC3 department for internet crime complaint. It’s ridiculous how many businesses are running scam internet sites

USLong-term customer, mostly good experience I have been a Park Seed customer for well over a decade and have experienced mostly favorable results. They offer a wide variety--that is what keeps me coming back--that and habit, I guess. I like buying smaller amounts of a wide variety of seeds because storing them long-term does compromise germination rates, but the tradeoff is higher price per seed. In one order a couple of years ago, I discovered that the bell peppers seeds I paid for did not arrive, and contacting the company got me nowhere. Other than that I have always received what I ordered, so I just wrote off the loss and ordered seeds again from them the next year.
