GBpoor customer service just spent 40 min on hold to no avail. finally gave up. I imagine two things - understaffed service dept and poor phone system (should have a call back feature). problem is, I don't know where else to obtain the parts I need. enviable business model...

GBUpdate to 4/11 review Wanted to provide an update to my initial review 3 weeks ago. I am giving the overall rating a 2 now that my experience with GSC is just about over. The good news is the first part of my order arrived yesterday with the other part due to be delivered tomorrow. So it took 4 weeks on the nose for my order to be delivered. If you have anything that is time-sensitive, I suggest looking elsewhere until GSC truly is back to operating normally. I do feel badly for the employees who are trying to dig themselves out of a mess. With an issue that appears to have surfaced in February, though, it is perplexing that issues still remain nearly 3 months later. I received the e-mail from GSC's Chief Operating Officer(?) last week that was likely sent to hundreds of customers. I appreciate the gesture - better late than never - but the intentional decision not to comment at all about what GSC has/is/would be doing to get this resolved was disappointing. We don't need all the details, but some would certainly have been appropriate to share. Best of luck to everyone with their orders.

GBShould have come here first! I had spent a lot of time searching online for a special cover for new cacti I'm trying to grow in zone 7. I had been using a laundry basket and it look ridiculous but I couldn't find anything else. Then, it occurred to me to check Gardeners supply and I immediately found exactly what I was looking for. GBGood purchase! My aunt's apartment windows face north, into a green belt, so NO sun for her green stuff; she'd ordered a grow-lamp but found it too wimpy (a three-legged foldout base) and it tended to spark when she unplugged the in-cord connector. I'd bought a grow-light for myself years ago, and was able to find a similar one on your site: heavy base, single tall pole, and gooseneck top for adjusting light direction. It arrived quickly and - when I delivered it to my aunt's place - we found it easy to assemble; the cleaner lines are much nicer-looking than her first one, and the light color much more pleasing (not blinding!). I'm sure it will give her plants just what they need; already they're looking more perky. Thanks for a quality product!

GBService Don't update shipping online, phone hold always 30 minutes or more, limited time to call. Trying to shop local but Gardner's Supply doesn't seem to care. Nice bit about employee=owned but totally useless.
